There was a good amount of cabbage to use for the lard. I drank the soup. Typically, I don't like reviewing places when I get it to go. “I was in the mood for some Tacos and didn’t want to travel too far. I discovered La Costa Tacos y Mariscos by doing a search on Yelp. Yelp takes such good care of my hunger searches. LoL!! La Costa Tacos y Mariscos sits in the strip mall behind the BP. The location is in the back corner so make sure you’re on the lookout for it as it’s possible to pass it by accident… I walked in taking in the authentic cultural ambiance. The location is small, however, they made great use of the space. There are a few High Top 2 seaters towards the front and some booth style seating towards the back. As I explored the menu I was pleased to see the variety of options. There is something for any food needing mood. I decided on the #1 which is 2 Tacos with Rice and Beans. Please note, the beans are Refried Beans and not the usual Black beans I’m accustomed to being served as a side. I chose to go with the Steak Tacos and I am pleased with my decision. To note, the tacos only come with the corn shell. The steak was perfectly done and well seasoned. The tacos are meaty and very filling. The tacos alone get a 7/10 from me. They really carried the combo for me… The rice was rice. Nothing special about it, minimal seasoning but goes well mixed with the beans or added to the taco. The rice by itself gets a 3/10 from me. The refried beans were standard and used as an additive to my rice and filler to my tacos. LoL!! The salsa provided was mild and fresh. It had the authentic salsa flavoring and went great with everything on my plate. The service was pleasant and friendly, and the establishment was super clean. Overall, I would recommend La Costa Tacos y Mariscos if you are in the mood for Mexican and want it quick. I would use this as a lunch pick up option when in the area.“

I visited the crab pot lounge along with my cousin, and we have been sitting here eating this abundant and absolutely delicious, magnificent fare!…Everything is scrumptious ! There is so much food on our plates that we have to take more than half of it home that’s how abundant it is. The service was fantastic, the gentleman that took our order was magnificent and this food is absolutely outstanding. You must try this place Don’t Sleep . “We visited this restaurant at 8:30 pm (closes at 9) when no one else was in the restaurant. I saw one of the employees tidying up as if he were prepping to close. We fully expected to get the unwelcome eye roll coming in that close to closing. However, the employee welcomed us with a big smile and hello that was really genuine. We had never eaten there before, and he happily explained the process to us. During that time a second employee came out from the back and helped him with our orders. He offered suggestions when he noticed us contemplating what we wanted. When we were debating eating in vs taking it to go because of the time, he again made us feel very welcomed to stay as he explained that they would be there cleaning anyway, so there was no rush for us to leave. As we sat and ate, another customer came in wanting a drink that they were out of. The employee took the time to make other recommendations rather than letting her leave empty handed after she said she only likes the one they were out of. Then another group came in, and the same employee joked with them that he should know what they want by now because they always order the same thing. I wish I would have gotten his name, but if course he was busy making other customers feel special when we left. That didn’t stop him from yelling bye as we went out the door though. I never leave reviews, but these two employees were absolute gems who stood out in such a positive way that I am happy to take the time to leave this review. Oh, and the food was really good too!“

“A cool spot for"Grown Folks" to go dance, eat and smoke hookah. Despite the name, the crowd is pretty diverse in age I would say ranging from 30's to 70's. There were a couple of birthdays being celebrated in an elevated area, the only area that I would say is not handicapped accessible as it is stair access only from what I could tell. All the attendees seemed to be having a blast.The DJ is great. He has a tough job but managed to play something for everyone. There are seats available if you don't want to dance and are in the mood to eat. I had the whiting plate and it was fried perfectly. I was shook. I would order that again if I were to find myself in Grown Folks on. Saturday night.My friends ordered the lemon pepper wings which she said were also good. So all in all a good night out for me and the crew.There are gender specific restrooms located at the rear of the establishment and an outside covered patio with a small bar.Parking: It shares parking with other businesses in a plaza style shopping center.“

Bri our server who was very sweet and attentive, apologized (though it wasnt her fault) and offered another side. We ordered baked beans...not any better. Tasted canned.
