My wife and I stopped here on a road trip a few years ago. Just by chance when we stopped to refuel. Everything was so delicious. We turned around and went back for another plate to take with us for later. If that isn't telling enough. We also stopped on our way back to Florida at the end of our road trip. Aaaaand we have even talked some friends into taking a trip from Ocala Florida to Georgia for lunch at Mr. Bobbyque!!! Can't wait to come back.

I wanted to like it!! I drove by & saw some good-looking food cooking on that grill, so I came back by to get some ribs. Well, looks can be very deceiving!! While eating, jokes would not stop coming into my head!!I thought I was getting a half lab of ribs!! It was snack size...fingerlin....What the heck!! There was barely anything on that bone! Felt like I bought some bones for a dog...The sauce was ok, liquidy, & kinda tasty....First time I had a rib with very little fat...meat...with a lot of cartridge on nubs & MORE bone, than meat.Came with 4 pieces of wheat bread.Seared good under that sauce.Finished ALL halves of short ribs within 7 minutes...I'm still HUNGRY & It takes VERY LITTLE to fill me up!!The picture of the half slab of ribs online is way bigger! I just don't feel like I got what I paid for!

I won't say someone dropped the ball today on my grilled chicken salad. Instead I'd say someone dropped the lettuce, chicken, pickles, onions & cucumbers. I literally had to perform emergency surgery on my salad to eat it. Y'all can do better!!!

I'm not being mean, just giving my honest opinion. I didn't like it. The potato salad was watery, the chicken wasn't hot like it's supposed to be after coming off the grill. I only paid almost $8 so I didn't lose much

The best food deal in town you can't beat the prices and the quality and type of food that Barbecue offers. You better get down there and try it for yourself you going to love it!

The food is good but there has been a very noticeable increase in price. Also there's a $2 up charge for paying with debit or credit. $2? Come on Bro. That's a little unreasonable.If your payment provider is charging to much then you should find a cheaper option instead of up charging your customers for your cost of doing business.Especially if you've already raised the prices on the menu.In my opinion this restaurant is to pricey to not have a dine-in option.Parking: (Drive thru only)

Family owned. Awesome food. Awesome prices. I think they may have went up a little. The picture of Bobby matches him exactly! Sometimes you will see his kids at the window and he definitely is on his kids and does his best to raise them right (I have seen where perhaps a young one wasn't excited to be there and he straightened them up real quick). Food has a great smoked taste and the price and quantity are cool. It was on $5 when I went but they have gone up a little, which is still cool. I really would like them to have a food truck that operates the way that an ice cream truck would...just going through the neighborhoods selling plates. Also Valdosta is a college town, so I believe they recently started accepting the college food debit (I don't know what it's really called, it's been a while since I have been at anyone's University but I think that is pretty cool too. You will often see the wife on site who is very humble, downtown to earth and just an all around good people. I am so glad they are in this community and really set a good example.
