I ordered 2 sandwiches with lettuce and tomato. Neither of them had these extras. I ordered 2 sauces for onion rings and fries. Neither of them were included in the delivery. And the whole meal as hardly warm when it arrived.

Generally, I like steak and shake's food. My wife got a hot dog and I got a chili dog. Franks were dry, chili sparse and not flavorful. Fries were not hot or crispy, just sad. I ordered a milk shake and did not select whipped cream and cherry but my wife said that it was the default. Overall the food quality was not like previous stops here. The container dispenser for ketchup cups are not very good. You have to crush the cups to get them out. Not a good way to dispense.

First mistake, not seeing a manual cash register only digital kiosk. Second went to place order on kiosk THREE times just to find out there’s not A cash option, proceeded to ask the nice young man working he then told me that their kiosk wasn’t working (I work in fast food) totally understandable, and that i would have to drive around the drive thru and pay. Highly disappointed went to dine in, received other expectations.

I love this place solely because of their garlic burger. However, they take a very long time if you’re going through the drive thru. I had one experience where the guy on the speaker was very rude. But the last time I had the sweetest lady at the window, I wish I would’ve asked for her name so I could shout her out. She’s honestly the only reason I came back besides the garlic burger lol. Service is hit or miss but the food is good!

Why take away the dinner feel and change it to fast food if it’s going to take 30 mins to get your food? So now I’m serving myself, and you ask if I want to tip for what? The food went from being affordable to spending 41$ on 3 burgers. All the condiments are out, and the table and booth were sticky. Definitely bring back the old way. It was much better.

We have been going to Steak N Shakes ever since I was little and this was our first time at this location and we met Jamie who's the owner and was there hard working with her employees ! Absolutely outstanding service and exceptional food quality. Definitely recommend this place for any of your Hamburger needs :)

We stopped in to eat as we are came here for a college tour and the tables were nasty, the crew was rude, and the floor was sticky.
There is no such thing as fast food anymore. The food was decent, although they have a "B" rating. I was the only one in the establishment, and neither of the two employees acknowledged me. Honestly, I was surprised my food was handed to me by a human. I should get a paycheck or at least a discount for taking the order and doing half the work.
Burgers were horrible and the shake was watery with little pieces of snicker (but I paid for extra) I had better steak and shake in other states. The lady on the grill needs to wash her shirt bc it was very nasty! The bathroom smells so bad couldn’t even use it! $31 gone down the drain! Never again!

My husband and I tried to order inside. The cash/credit machine was out of order; of course you wouldn't know that until it was time to pay and the machine didn't take your money. We decided to go through the drive through. It had been over 15 years for my husband since he has eaten at a Steak and Shake, and twenty-six years for myself; to make it special this was our third year anniversary. The drive-thru was slow. We got to the window, and the lady asked, "Would you be my first tip of the night?"; and we had to tell her what we ordered because she was lost at her job; they aren't supposed to ask for tips. We waited ten minutes for any of our food/drink. The lady came back to the window; after watching a young man walk back and forth eating while working on the line; she opened the drive-thru window and asked my husband, "Can I help you sir?" He replied confused, "We haven't gotten our food yet." She looked shocked and said, "Oh, I'm sorry", and repeated our order. We could see our Cookies and Cream shake sitting at the window the entire time, the tenders in the fry basket, and a large and medium fry on the counter, THE ENTIRE TIME. Ten more minutes passed,the lady returned to the window, asked what our order was, again, and tried to give us the wrong shake. My husband told her, "We had the Cookies and Cream Shake", she handed it to us and it had melted. She then handed us our bag of food, three tenders and a large fry, they were cold. My husband had to repeat to her, "We also ordered a Cheese Fry", she said, "Oh", left for five more minutes before handing us the fries. My husband looked inside the bag and there was no cheese sauce, just fries. My husband got the lady's attention, "Excuse me, miss, we ordered cheese fries, this is just fries". She gave us an ounce of cheese sauce and said, "You have to pour the cheese sauce on yourselves because we don't make cheese fries for the drive-thru, just for the inside", and yet we were charged for the cheese fries full priced. We tried to ask for a receipt, but the lady refused. My husband and I looked at each other and really hoped the food was better than the service. Well, the milkshake was melted and horrible, the fries, cold, dry, and old; the tenders, cold, and also old; the cheese sauce was not nearly enough and tasted like metal. We were very disappointed and our anniversary was ruined. We recommend never going to the Steak and Shake in Valdosta. It is operated as a convenient store with employees who have no work ethics. I pray for anyone who eats and puts up with a place like that. I pray that God goes easy on the working crew that worked that night.
