Love this place for lunch! To be honest, I eat here too much. The burrito bowls are my favorite and the cilantro-lime rice is awesome. The dining room is always clean and the staff is very friendly and efficient. If I had one complaint, it would be that your entree bowl is placed on another serving bowl/plate on top of chips. Yes, the outside of your bowl (where everyone touches it) is sitting on a bed of chips that you are supposed to eat. Not very sanitary and extremely unappealing. Surcheros, you need to fix this. Otherwise, this place is awesome ?

RIDICULOUS!!! I’ve been a loyal customer ever since this SURCHEROS came to Valdosta. I always order 2 burritos with double tortillas 3 or 4 times a week. Keep in mind I always pay for double tortillas so that my burrito doesn’t bust or break doing the time of the rolling it. So I was always aware of the up charge on a 2 tortillas for 1 burrito. My total always comes up to or a lil over 30 bucks every time. Today doing lunch hours I goes in an order my usual 2 burritos with double tortillas. On my burritos 1 was steak the other was chicken with rice, beans, and all the fixing I like. I saw the manager John Lopez whisper right in front of me questioning 1 of he’s staff about what all I had in my burritos due to the sizes. Once he finish whispering in the young man ear. The young cashier came over and ring me up for 4 burritos with double tortillas on all four burritos with 2 order of steak and 2 order of chicken total came over 50+ dollars.. I was LIVID!!!! I ask the cashier what the hell just happened. Why my total is this high. He looked back at me shrugs his shoulders and said I’m doing what my manager told me to do.. I ask for the manager. John took his slow time to approach me due to he already knew why I wanted to speak with him. I told him my concerned on why my burritos this high when I come in 2 or 3 times a week. He said there has been some changes made. I told him y'all should’ve inform me on that change before I ordered. He basically brushed me off with no regard or remorse.. Customer service was DEFINITELY POOR TODAY

Food is always great. This review is specifically for the management on the night of 2/22/24. I waited in line for 30 minutes from start to finish, by the time I got to the register, my food was cold and the line was out the door. The poor girl at the register was doing the drive-through and the line which left only two people preparing food for both in-store customers and online orders. Meanwhile, the manager or supervisor is comfy in a booth “training “a possible new employee? A good manager would read the room and come and help his employees. 30 minutes is outrageous! I made direct eye contact in line with him several times from where I was standing, he knew the line was not moving. As I was leaving, I did say something to the manager, which he flippantly brushed off. He should’ve paused what he was doing to get the line down, his employees seemed extremely stressed and , every customer in line was upset by the time they made it to the register. Do better.
