“Food and service was great. We had 6 people and our awesome waiter never once wrote our order down. Everything came out perfect. Their cheese dip is awesome if you want a really good appetizer with the chips instead of the regular dip which is good but is delightfully spicy.“

“While passing through on business we stopped in to El Mexicano, if you are going to places by how they look you will pass this one up. I can say that we thought twice but being a hole in the wall guy we gave it a shot. The staff was super friendly and everyone that helped us spoke perfect english. We got chips and salsa right off the bat and the salsa was very tasty. I ordered the gordita's and a quesadilla. I got 3 seperate meats in the gordita's, the shells were house made, fresh, hot, crispy and delicious. The quesadilla was bigger than most places, flavorful and I would have like to have a little more cheese in it but thats just me being picky. My friend had the tacos, the shells were also fresh and flavorful. If you pass by this little gem then you are definitely missing out!“
“A friend took me here about a month ago, and at first it was hard to spot. It is in the basement of a gas station, which might deter some from eating there, but it is SO worth it! The food is authentic and I have not found anything else like it in this area!“
“The food was amazing! It was flavorful and cooked perfectly. We also had their margaritas and they were deliciously made. Just the right amount of alcohol! The service was also pleasant. Our drinks were kept full and we were checked on frequently. The ambiance was also enjoyable with Mexican music playing and tv's all around. Overall, great experience and we would return!“
“Great food. The tortillas are made from scratch (corn). Nice people. Great prices. I will go again. I have eaten at a lot of Mexican joints in America..this one is good, thnx. Fyi, Countryfolk who eat every meal at chain restaurants will be disappointed with their authenticity.“
“We were looking for a place to eat lunch coming thru Lyons. We saw Guacamole’s and decided to stop. It was 2pm and I was a little concerned the food may not be the freshest. They brought the chips and salsa and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. We got a 32 oz cup to take home!! I had the steak burrito with rice. It was hot, fresh and delicious! The service was great also! We will be back!“
“Last weekend I was at the place, highly recommended from the entrance to the exit everything was magnificent, the service was super good and pleasant, fast when taking the order and bringing the dishes to the table. The food was delicious, the meat tacos, what can I say, and the guacamole is another level, as are the drinks, the michelada and the margaritas, very good ? my family and I were delighted and for 6 people the price was good, 100% recommended and of course we will return“
