Very good service at the Russell location! My food was ready for pickup as soon as I arrived. Employees were pleasant and friendly. Did not have to wait nearly as long as the location on Green Street and Davis Drive.

Literally used to be the good one in town. This place has gone downhill. You have one lady running every register plus a To-go window while the other cashier does who knows what. You can order the simplest menu item, and they will still find a way to mess it up. I waited 12 minutes for my food just to end up sending it back and getting a refund. Stick to the Perry, GA location if you don't want to be disappointed.

Everything was cold. The fries and shrimp were the coldest. If I had checked my order as my significant other suggested I would have requested a refund. And just think, this place used to be above the one on gray highway in Macon. Not anymore. I'll stay away until the people change again which they regularly do. Please try and recruit a cook that cares, it's the reason most people return.

I chanced stopping in here, drenched in sweat (AC broke in my truck), having fouls several other restaurants on Davis closed by 3pm!I only asked for a cup of ice water and access to a ladies room, as I was too hot to order anything else.The staff at Davis Road store greeted me at the door. Two gals and a guy were working the midday shift, and had no other customers. All were very helpful and friendly.The cold water in a to-go cup was waiting for me on the counter as I made my way toward exit from a very clean, private, fully stocked, working restroom. I didn’t see a ticket for my drink and looked curiously at the clerks, who smiled and told me it was on the house.I hope their immediate supervisor and manager/franchise owner do not call out the kind gesture, but recognize how impactful goodwill truly is.I plan to revisit the establishment each time I’m in the area, and order family size to share.. Further, I’ve already told friends about the seafood-serving gem I found. Beats Google Ads!Notes:I could not give 5 stars unless food tastes dandy too. TBD.Lastly, not forgetting my manners, tipping the staff instead of paying a ticket was appropriate.

I normally have great service at this location and great food. But today the fish was fried black with black specks and dried out. I was told the fryers temperature gauge was broken and caused uneven cooking to occur. But this fish did not look good to eat safely. It looks like this old store is going down hill as the new store is getting all the new equipment and better better service people.Wheelchair accessibility: Looks good but tight.

Rude customer service, lazy employees. I stopped by after I left the local highschool football game. It was 9:37pm, as soon as I pulled up to the intercom someone promptly said “welcome to Captain D’s we are currently out of EVERYTHING”. In disbelief I asked again, “you don’t have anything to serve- not even a drink”, the answer was “NO”! That’s just absurd and a joke. Times have definitely changed.
