The Italian ice cream here is amazing. Definitely worth the trip. It's definitely a family favorite for us!I just gave it a low rating for service and atmosphere because when it rains their entrance can be a huge safety hazard and possibly cause someones life. This is not an exaggeration when it involves a precious human life. On our last visit it was pouring rain as customers entered their shoes are dripping wet. They have polished concrete floors so you can imagine what takes place when you walk in, especially if you are walking fast to get out of the rain. My children and I almost slipped. Thank God we didn't. We got in, ordered our ice cream and within seconds another family and a woman after us had the same experience. She kindly tells them about the problem, (something we had mentioned earlier to them) as she is explaining and an older man walks in and hits the ground. He is hurt but out of embarrassment gets up. We all help him get up. Then finally an employee comes out with a wet mop..... Yes, y'all....a wet mop??? I was a bit dumbfounded and confused. They were a bit indifferent about the danger. Very alarming when a simple high traffic commercial rug can help with this problem. So if you want "safe" ice cream go here when it's not raining.And there aren't many places inside to sit and enjoy your ice cream. They need a better set up.
