My first visit to WR Cafe is very impressive! Went to try the porkchops but missed out (they sell out early and fast) and ended up sampling the 2pc Whiting combo . The fish was excellent, and the fries (for my taste) could have cooked more to cripsy, but the meal was overall very good. Likewise, the gizzards were good (prefer mine cooked a bit longer), but they do not travel well. Get them and eat them while there for the best culinary experience. Food and service is always great… and if by chance something is wrong… manager and owner will try to correct the issue as long you follow their instructions…. I’ve never had a major issue that could not be solved.

The fish was straight they cut it in half. Make it look like you had 4 pieces. Don't eat cold slaw. Fries were very hot and plentiful. Shrimp was very hard and over cooked. Hushpuppies were ok. No beer. That was terrible! Kinda slow I guess only 1 person in the back. Can season your food once you get it. Put as much or little as you want.
