I went on a Saturday at noon.Got a sampler plate to go but had double pork and no chicken.I loved the cole slaw.The toast was boring.The pork was chopped very weirdly, big and small pieces.The ribs were tender and pretty tasty but cold as well.The french fries were average, nothing bad to say but nothing good to say either.I did enjoy the sauce on the chopped pork and the rib sauce was good but I'm not as big of fan of sweeter sauces.I most likely will not visit again.

Ordered BBQ plate with sweet potato instead of fries. Slaw was good, but that was it. Sweet Potato and BBQ was cold. Brunswick stew was nasty. Bad Food.

The cashiers name was Eli...He's adorable and I'd rather eat him than the ribs I got...He overcharged me for 9 chicken wings i never orderd and never got...and I had to go back in and get my money back...Don't be charmed by his good looks and check your receipts!!

I don’t know what’s going on here. I’ve eaten here for years, we went last weekend and dined in. Food came on a styrofoam plate and plastic eating utensils. They used to have like 3 sauces you could choose from. This pulled pork plate came out with Carolina mustard based sauce, not my favorite. As far as I could tell that’s the only sauce now. It was mediocre at best. Mac and cheese was pretty bad. I’m guessing maybe new owners? Idk but I won’t go back.

This place provides a no-frills type of experience, if you want some good bbq at a reasonable price point. A little heavy on the bbq sauces(some people might prefer that) but great smoked flavor and big portion sizes. I got the sampler plate and coworkers got a salad and side of fries. I would definitely consider doing take out next time, whenever smoked bbq comes to mind.

Soda was watered down, okra was over cooked, turnip greens where caned, and the bbq was just nasty. I watched the waitress pick up silver ware from a dirty table and hand it straight to one of my kids. Horrible never going

Have been coming to Rodgers bbq when we visit family for over 15 years, but haven’t been back since Covid. Stopped by excited for dinner. Ordered the shredded bbq pork dinner plate. Service was with a smile but the food was little to come back for. Brunswick stew tasted like ketchup, shredded pork meat a bit on the old side with no flavor and no sauce offered or in eye sight. Fries and coleslaw were good. Love the smiles and friendly ness of the servers though. Seems like a great family dinner spot, but my family won’t be coming back for a while.
