“This is the place to get real Mexican food in Athens. The Tacos are so Good that I had to put out this review. I have eaten here twice in the last week and will probably do it next week to. Tacos are big and delicious the burritos look big to I saw some other customers plates to and it all looks good. Have to come out and check out this place. “As a Floridian I've eaten my fair share of Latin food including Mexican food in Mexico. This place was delicious and unexpected in rural Georgia offering way more than the normal Mexican restaurant. The Birria Tacos were delicious but by far my favorite were the Habanero Mango wings fried to perfection. If you don't already know about this place you must be stopping through like we did and this place deserves your visit.“

“This is my go to place for Birria Tacos in Athens. The food here is absolutely delicious, probably one of the best birria tacos I have had in general. I tried some other places before writing this review and this by far is the most fair priced, tastiest, and authentic. I went to one place I say on tiktok and it was really white washed and bland. This is a local and hidden gem. Definitely recommend you trying this place especially if you want Birria.“

“I only stopped in for a second to grab a few tacos because I was in a hurry. They told me to sit down while I waited and tried to give me chips and salsa. It didn't feel right to get them since I wasn't staying, but after trying the tacos and salsa verde, I wish I had! The al pastor and chorizo were perfect with fresh ingredients. For the most part, employees are friendly and do well at handling the nonstop business. Unfortunately, there are at least two (full-time/regular) employees that are quite rude and unpleasant. It is clear that the customer’s presence alone is an inconvenience. Other than that, all around great spot for any Athens residents and visitors.“

“La Pa off Jefferson Road is my favorite Mexican place. I’ve been a customer since they started in the other space (more than 20 years ago). Their cheese dip is unmatched. The food is consistent, served quickly, and the staff are always friendly. Our family goes there a lot - we know many of the staff by name and it’s a place that feels like more like hanging out with family & friends.“

“Everything was super fresh and delicious. I had Mexican style nachos and guac and was very happy with it all. My wife had Mexican tacos and was also very happy! We had it delivered and it came with 4 of the best hot sauces I’ve had anywhere, really top notch.It also came with two mystery items wrapped in foil. I peeled back one of them to find some pickled red onions. Sweet! I love pickled onions. I grabbed a single small onion, about 1 inch long and popped it in my mouth while assembling my plate. Within 3 seconds there was steam, fire, smoke and damnation blasting out of my mouth. Oh my lord it was the hottest thing I’ve ever tasted and I have done the ghost pepper challenge. I now know why they had to wrap it in metal. It’s the next morning when I’m writing this and I’m suffering again. Still glad we ordered from Morros.Love this place and will definitely be back. “We enjoyed this place. We went on a Saturday night. We were seated right away inside. We had kids with us and they are kid friendly which is always good for us. Our waitress was friendly and patient. We got our order quickly.The food was extremely good and the drinks were good.Just note, it is kid friendly but drinks do not come with the kids meal and the drinks are around $4 each.“
