Service was outstanding. The restaurant was very clean. Service was great, and everyone was super friendly. The meatloaf, catfish and fried chicken were hot and perfectly prepared. Loved it.

Family Tradition catered a business breakfast today and they did a great job! Food was spot on and just like a southern breakfast should be. Being family owned and operated makes me like this place even more.

Food is okay at best. It's not the worst you'll ever have considering the price. Service was fine, but they forgot parts of our order. The place was busy, and they appeared understaffed, so I could understand. Took longer than expected to get the check because our server kept having to go back to the kitchen. Another server that wasn't even waiting our table got our check without asking if it was going to be split (I don't know why, as a waitress, you would get the check for a table that you aren't serving), so we still had to wait for our server to get back

How sad. This used to be good although not the healthiest choices. The last several times we've been there, we've had to send food back for being cold. We went recently where a young girl identified herself as the manager on duty and was extremely rude. The wait staff changes every time we're there. We recently went for a late lunch after a funeral. I asked for a slice of tomato and the owner (who I've known for years) came out of the kitchen screaming loudly that I was stealing from her by asking for a tomato slice. Never again. She could have been dealing with holiday stress or been over tired, however, that's not how you treat a customer. One less family you need to worry about serving... ever!

Having grown up eating at this establishment I can say with 100% confidence no one in the area can top the service and food here. Between the warm and smiling faces and the delicious food it’s no wonder this place has been the favorite spot of so many people. And not to mention, the owners are some of the best people you could meet. They’re constant need to satisfy every customer and their willingness to ensure everyone has a good experience whether it’s their first time eating there or thousandth time shows through and through. It’s hard to find places like this anymore and I’m glad to know that they keep the tradition alive in mom and pop restaurants!

I have eaten here a number of times and have always felt it was adequate till this evening. We ordered our dinners and proceeded to have them delivered in a fairly timely manner but the entrees were served first and the runner/helper asked if we had had our salads yet...uh no. The salads came out fairly quickly and we had to ask for a couple of things that we had asked for on the order that were forgotten my wife had ordered a full liver dinner sted half and only half came out, again fairly quickly the other half came out along with a couple of other misses. We then proceeded to eat our dinners after about 10 minutes (or two thirds of the way thru her 1st half of the livers she realized she had bitten into a spoiled one...ok, 2nd half or the rest of her order comes out and she tried the first one and I could tell by my wifes face something was wrong...again, another spoiled liver. The waitress apologized and we said she did not want to try again and the waitress comes back and misspoke "we took the 2nd half of the full order off" . I looked at the bill I realized all of the issues we had and said no taking less than half off was not acceptable and I would like to speak to a manager. After a rather long wait another young lady comes out and explains that they were sorry and they did take off almost half as she did eat over half of her potatoes and salad (sides). I told her no that it should be appropriate to take my wifes meal off and we pay for everything but her meal. After another wait the owner came out and said we are taking another 10 percent off and that's it. I was rather incensed and told her I thought that was unreasonable...she smiled and said well I'm sorry you feel that way and pointed to the register with a very insincere have a nice day, just after I told her we wouldn't be back.I went to the register really angry at this time and the young person at the register asked how everything was to which I replied "awful" and I told him the owner acted like a pos I won't tell you how gratifying his response was. Now, I have never gotten that angry before but the sneering insincere attitude by the owner was more than I could take and by this time she was back at the register now and was trying the smiley, have a nice day garbage again and I told her to knock of the smarminess and I'm leaving and will be doing what I haven't done in years of reviews and reviewing I am writing a negative review and a one star to which the reply in all the insincerity she could muster "have a nice day".When I used to air my reviews on my show I used to always preface the review with..."any company or restaurant is good when there are no issues...the real test of an establishment is in how they handle the inevitable negative issues that come up".Well, the OWNER failed miserably over how much you may ask...$11 dollars, yep the price of her MEAL ONLY, not drinks just the meal...not the service and the issues of trying to pass an 1/2 order off as a full (which could have been a slip up). It's apparent that this mom and pop needs the money more than I do.I have eaten at restaurants large and small hundreds it not thousands of times and had a cooking show that for the first 4 years we reviewed reviewed a couple of hundred wit not one negative review. After 20y+ ears of talking about eating establishments and giving ownership the benefit of the doubt whenever possible...this "OWNER" finally proved that with all that experience...I hadn't seen it all. Thank you!
