If you are looking for good southern food like Grandma used to make, this is the place! I get so excited when I get to eat at Family Traditions. I love the simple, down home feel of the restaurant.... The servers are salt of the earth, wonderful people! Chicken and Dumplings are one of my favorite! I've had country fried steak , green beans and mashed potatoes. Sweet tea and cornbread too! Makes me so happy! The very best Fried okra!!!! Just like my Grandma used to make on the farm. This place is special!!!

We always have a lovely meal here! It is worth the 25 mile trip to eat here. Kellie made sure we didn't lack for anything on trip. Our table of three enjoyed fried chicken, country fried steak, lemon pepper chicken, green beans, cream corn, cantaloupe, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, slaw and yummy fresh baked rolls, with strawberry shortcake to cap off our wonderful lunch.

Do NOT order take out. If they run out of an item, they just don't put it in your box! 3 items were missing from two dinners. Yes, I returned to the restaurant- there was no apology and no offer of compensation. I even had an extensive wait for them to make it right. Upon return, I saw there was another customer with the same issue. So disappointed! We will not be back
