This place sucks! The cakes aren’t fresh, they’re stored in a freezer. Very unprofessional staff and I heard the manager tells people she’s “the next cake boss” very weird if you ask me. Wouldn’t recommend.

We were craving desserts and stopped by this place. The first impression itself was mesmerizing. It's beautifully decorated. I would say the red velvet cake is a must-try.I just wish there were some tables to sit and take a bite. It's more like a drive in.

The carrot bundt cake has too much frosting and long Julienne uncooked carrots all throughout making it a terrible experience to eat when gagging on long hard carrot strands. Overpriced and not very good.

Can't go wrong here. We drove by here and I yelled for the hubby to "STOP" I must go in. (We actually came back the next day) We went here directly after going to Your Pie Pizza and this was a great great treat. The store had ample parking right out front. The store was very clean and organized. Lots of things to purchase if you forgot to pick up a gift. Smart idea to have things extras because I wanted the extras and didn't even need anything. Loved that they had a good amount of Hanukkah items to purchase and had a nice display. I would have bought too many tumblers and mugs if the hubby was not with me. The store had two bakery cases as you walked in front and center with two workers waiting to help you. One was helping someone place a large order and then one waiting to help us. The display cases baby bundts, mini and large in a variety of flavors from chocolate chip, lemon white chocolate raspberry, pumpkin, to snickerdoodle. The frosting looked thick and amazing. We ended up getting white chocolate raspberry x2, pumpkin spice and snickerdoodle. The grandson inhaled the snickerdoodle. I loved the white chocolate. The frosting as expected was a perfect amount of sweet. I am not a pumpkin anything person so that was the request of the daughter-in-law. I just wish they would have more chocolate chocolate items.

Normally, their cakes are very good. I ordered one yesterday for a surprise party at my job and it wasn't the same. My staff even commented on the quality and appearance of the cake. I thought they made them fresh. I am not sure that's the case anymore. The cake seemed smaller, looked a little awkward, and had more icing than usual to me.

I called in to make sure my pick up order for my birthday was ready and the employees said it was ready for pick up. I told them traffic was heavy and I was going to arrive late for pick up. They reassured me that they would wait for me to get there. When I arrived no one was waiting for me. My cakes weren’t even left outside the door. No my birthday party is completely ruined and we have no dessert. 60 bucks gone to waste. I will never order from them again. Great way to bring in my 30th birthday.

I’ve shipped at many different locations but the Woodstock location was my first. I love the cakes use them for all my special occasions. But this experience left me baffled. I paid in cash and when l asked for my receipt she said the printer is out. When l just stood there she said, we’lll have to change it. I said please do. But she still proceeded with my order thinking I would forget about the receipt. I then added some toppers to the cake, which the other girl took me at another register and paid cash again. I asked for my original receipt and she said well it’s going to be just for the add-ons. I said no that’s ok, just the original receipt would be ok; as I was observing all along, original register was printing out every credit card receipt after my transaction.

My boss informed me that they're actually franchises and whoever owns the Riverwalk location is crushing it!The store is neat as a pin, bright, cheerful and they have a nice little variety of gifts and cards available as well. I found a couple of candles that I will definitely be returning for in the near future.The cake case was clean and organized, and everything looked so good... I went in for a selection of "Bundtlets" for the office and it was hard to choose just six! Luckily they had lots of options, ranging white chocolate raspberry or lemon to snickerdoodle or confetti. I opted for the red velvet and it was 99.8% perfect - but personally, I don't like chocolate chips in my red velvet cake. However, the taste & texture were awesome, I apologize for use of the word "moist" but it was and perfectly so. The cream cheese frosting was sweet but not too sweet and it hadn't formed that crisp outer layer that set frosting can develop. I want to go back for my birthday cake and I LOVE baking cakes at home...The only criticism I have (and I get it, I've worked retail and I'm human - I know people have stuff going on) is that the girl behind the counter seemed VERY sedate for such a cheery atmosphere. I didn't need her to do spirit fingers or jump up and down, but I don't think she smiled at all and I can only imagine the anguish I would've caused by asking for a recommendation. Like I said, I get it and sometimes a job is a job and just because you work in a sunny cake shop doesn't mean you have a sunny personality. But you are an ambassador for the company and you elected to accept that job so for the five minutes someone is in the store, pretend to be only mildly inconvenienced rather than completely bothered.
