Yummy is an understatement! The biscuits are to die for! The gravy is scrumptious! The grits are delicious and the bacon is cooked to perfection! Top that off with great service! I am a customer for life!!
Consistently some of the best homestyle breakfast food in NW Atlanta. Huge fluffy buttery breakfast biscuits that will change your life. Seriously: entire religions have been founded on shakier footings than the charisma these biscuits wield. A sausage egg & cheese biscuit from S&J could easily win the next presidential election running as an independent, and it'd be a landslide. You wouldn't think a gem would exist in a fuel station! We've been going to S&J for a few years. If we have time, the biscuits and gravy are wonderful. If I have to get on the road right away, the biscuit is the way to go. Steak, tenderloin, chicken (even spicy chicken!), sausage and with scrambled or fried egg and cheese if you want it! I've seen the line reaching to the door during the week. Leo, the cashier, is a busy guy. He'll talk to you once he recognizes you.
