The owner was very friendly and good for kids. I got a bear cotton candy. Also good for your girlfriend when going out on a date.

I wish I could give this place a better rating as I did enjoy the flavors of oreo cookies, kona coffee, and strawberry gelato. The main problem is that it's overpriced for such a small portion. One can go to a grocery store a get gelato from the freezer section for a better price for a bigger portion. The other issue I came across was that I couldn't use my Yelp coupon even though I had shown it the cashier for my discount. With the gelato practically about to melt, I decided to pay full price rather than trying to get my discount. I suppose the cashier has never heard of someone using a Yelp coupon and only know of Groupon. Don't get me wrong. She was a nice lady. I would come back if I happen to be craving for some gelato and already in the area or if the prices get lowered. Truly 6 small scoops of gelato shouldn't cost $18.00.

Let me just start off by saying that this placed is just too over priced. My boyfriend went to buy an acai bowl and came back with something that wasn't even worth the money. The price of this acai is the biggest rip off ever. $11.50 for this?!?!?! Are you kidding me........ It's supposed to include bananas, strawberries, blueberries, granola, and honey. They didn't have any bananas, or strawberries and my boyfriend didn't want blueberries so he ended up with only the little granola and acai they gave. They were also really stingy about the honey (we don't know if the honey was an extra charge or not) so it was really just acai and granola. Honestly, if they didn't have 90% of what was supposed to be in the acai bowl, they should have at least gave a discount, or compensated the amount of acai they gave. The girl who was working there was in training and being supervised by the manager. Initially the girl was going to give less of what's shown in the picture, but the manager kept telling her to put more. Even with the end result they still didn't give a lot so can you imagine how much the girl initially put before being told to put more? If you also plan to use a cup that big, at least fill it and make it look like it's supposed to be meant for an acai bowl instead of leaving it half empty. I super don't recommend coming here. Even the prices for the gelato and sorbet are way more over priced than other gelato places. Was really disappointed about this place and won't come back again.

The place is way over priced. $16.11 for two small cups of gelato. Supposedly, it's $6.50 per two scoops plus another $1 plus for the skimpy toppings which the girl fails to tell you is extra. Not worth the price. Save yourself the money and just go to Dave's or Baskin & Robbins.

Don't get me wrong about making a 2 star review, this isn't a bad gelato place. The flavors and texture of their gelato is pretty good and the oreo tastes exactly like oreo. But a number of extenuating circumstances has lead me to write this review after what is likely my last visit. One of the first problems is the price. Not openly displayed to customers (you would have to go to the side of the booth or see it hidden on the back of the cup sizes) a small cup is over six dollars, which is a little outrageous. I usually would ask for a keiki size, which was a bit smaller but only $4.50. This size USED TO be an ok single scoop size as well but when I asked for it today the guy working the counter served a scimpy scoop that did not even fill up the mini cup. My mother and I each got a scoop but had to go back for another because it was smaller than usuall, which we did not suspect (and also cost us an additional $4.50). Only this time, the scoop also had a hair in it. Gross! In addition, they never seem to change up their flavors. This might not be seen as a problem by everyone but its not very exciting when everytime you visit it is the same old vanilla, oreo, coffee, etc. I think the most out there flavors they have are the sorbettos and lilikoi cheesecake but I feel there are so many other flavors out their to test out. But perhapse that's just me. Either way, the gelato is fine but the scoops are overpriced and, sorry to say, but today's scimpy scoops were my tipping point.

Not. A. Fan. The gelato itself is ok, but it's the prices that are exorbitant--and I'm not entirely convinced that this is a premium product that's worth the price. I was lured in by the free sample and thought it was ok enough to buy because I was desperate on a hot day. The sales associate asked me if I'd like to add any toppings and I declined. He persisted. "Are you sure you don't want to add anything else on top?" Good on him for winning the sale, bad on me for caving and choosing an Oreo topping. He proceeded to pull stale Oreo crumbles from a lidded plastic cup and put a few meager "toppings" on the gelato. Seriously, he maybe put one Oreo on the gelato and then proceeded to charge me an additional dollar for it. I believe my total was over $7 for a single scoop. It was kind of shocking and I'm not easily shocked by prices at mall kiosk-type places. If I had a video of the look on my husband's face, I'd post it somewhere and it would go viral immediately. So there you have it. Be warned, it's pricey and this Yelper doesn't think it's worth it.

Is it just me or do they over charge their customers?! The price list on the side says one scoop for $4.30. But my daughter ordered one scoop with toppings and the girl charged her $7.21. I wouldn't be so irritated if the price list wasn't listed. Please change the price list. The Aloha Gelato in Ala Moana charges the exact price for what you order.

Everytime I pass by, the workers always offer a sample. I've gotten sorbetto and Gelato. My son likes the chocolate Gelato. I get the strawberry lemonade sorbetto. It is pretty pricey here, but it's not like I always get it everytime I go to the mall. I went here on 05.30.17. The worker was really nice and friendly, despite having several people waiting. He had to take orders, cash people out, and make the orders. So I understand why there was a little wait. Plus, my son wanted to try the chocolate smoothie instead of just getting 2 scoops of gelato, and I know the lady in front of us had ordered an acai smoothie. I got a scoop for me and my daughter. It was a keiki size. We enjoyed the sweets from here!!

5 Stars for excellent and fast customer service. It is a bit pricey though for their gelato, but now there is no DQ in the mall for ice cream anymore I went here! Especially after my son trying a sample of their oreo cookie, it was a must. We were greeted as we walked closer to their kiosk which is located in the food court of the uptown mall. The guy asked us if we would like to try a sample and of course with my 2 year old i said yes! I wanted my son to eat actual food before dessert and i told the guy we'll be back and he said sure take your time. I loved how i didnt felt like i HAD to buy. After our lunch we did come back and ordered a small oreo cookie with no waffle cone or toppings. I didnt really see if they even had a menu but looking at the reviews they already looked expensive so i kept it simple since it was mainly for my son. The gelato was nice and creamy. Even though it did cost a little bit more than other gelato places I've been to, i definitely wouldnt mind coming back for their taste and quality factor. I also checked into Yelp and recieved a discount! On yelp it says 10% off your purchase of $6.00 or more but the guy who rang me up said it was supposed to be 20% and gave me that. Thanka for a excellent and kind service guys!

I agree with the previous yelper (kalika). This gelato was a little expensive but normally that wouldnt bother me. What bothered me was that after being really friendly and getting the free sample, I ordered 4 small scoops for my nieces and nephew. The older lady acted all rushed and wanted to move on to the next customer. She even seemed put-out when I asked her to punch my stamp card. I thought what 'awesome customer service'....basically they only want ur $$ and move on :(
