Absolutely exceptional. I had the 'chili pepah watah chicken' with mac salad and rice. The chicken was juicy and mixed well with the rice. The chicken was a little bit spicy but the mac salad provided perfect, cool relief. ~$20-25

Great place for amazing pork comb plate after spending the afternoon in Pearl Harbor. Super tasty and was only a little over a mile away.

This place is awesome, okay prices, but amazing food. So delicious! Really friendly staff the moment I entered. Restaurant is small with a diner type vibe. The table was clean and I was served everything at my table. This place is a great local restaurant.

Hole in the wall restaurant with amazing food! The kalua pork is so tender and flavorful. The nachos looked amazing (regretting not getting those) and the carne asada street tacos were so good! Get the combo 1 and street tacos with hot sauce and thank me later!

Did some takeout on a weekday night and had an excellent experience. It's weird, the first time we came here a few years ago, it was excellent. We came again a year later and it was sort of a miss. But last week when we went again, they're back on track! I can see from their reviews they're doing things right. The lady at the counter was very friendly, and she gave us our takeout and my first thought was "whoa these bags are heavy!"We got home and everything we had was delicious. My wife got the laulau combo plate, I got the pastele stew. My only complaint about the pastele stew was that I wish there was more of it haha.We will definitely come here again! Check it out, worth visiting if you're in Aiea.

A great, great local, authentic restaurant. I went here just before going to the airport to go home and I was very pleased with everything. The food was excellent, especially the chicken, with an authentic local flavor. The server was very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient too. It was a little expensive, especially for the combos, but you get a bit of variety in the food you get, so it's a bit more understandable. If you ever want to taste some local food, this is a good place to do it!

Enjoyed the kalua pig nachos. However the Kalbi was undercooked and red. With this being a thin cut, it should not be undercooked. The beef stew was not your Hawaiian style beef stew. Seemed more Mexican. This is not something that people who are accustomed to local style beef stew would enjoy. The stir fry teriyaki with sweet onions was just ok. I think this place tries to serve Hawaiian food and Mexican food, but get the ingredients mixed up and Hawaiian food tastes like Mexican. Also the haupia misses the mark by a large margin. Not even close to resembling Haupia in Hawaiian restaurants. Finally, we were dining in and we were all served on our table with take out containers. I had to get up to help myself with utensils. Not sure how this place were awarded “Best of Hawaii” in 2020. My only guess is, new owners, new management, new cooks.

Absolutely perfect! I was stationed in Hawaii over 20 years ago and came back for vacation. Good local food was what I wanted and that’s what I got at Kehau’s Kitchen. The Pua’a to da poke nachos were sooo good. Crunchy homemade chips with a generous helping of poke and kalua pork. If you get nothing else, you must try these! My teens tried food from the Mexican side of the menu and they were very happy with their selections. Service was excellent! Kind and helpful, local staff. They’ve received some local awards too. Definitely come here!Kid-friendliness: Casual, small local place, I’d feel completely comfortable bringing my kids here.

Came because of the reviews but we had a terrible experience. Service was slow and terrible. We didn't even stay to order. Never coming back again.
