Cashier has 0 customer service skills. Wasn't even busy at 11:30 and she was rude on all aspects. Doesn't seem like she enjoyed her job. A little smile could go a long way. Won't be returning

My husband and I are sushi lovers and upon printing our photos downstairs, we decided to get something quick to eat. What would unfold after would span a three day consecutive streak of buying food here. Located in downtown pearlridge food court (next to the movie theaters) it is a quick stop for lunch if you have sushi or fish cravings like I do. The food is absolutely delicious and its freshness speaks volumes. There is a full menu or you can buy the ready made grab and go bentos that they have available at the counter. This comes with Miso soup as well which is included with the purchase. It's the perfect lunch spot to enjoy food with a friend or with your family when you are spending time at the pearlridge mall.

When I used to work in town, I would always go to this place called Ahi & Vegetable on Fort Street Mall at least 2 or 3 times a week. I haven't worked in town for a few years so I really missed my favorite Spicy Ahi/Natto bowl. I was looking for a place to eat at the food court in Pearlridge Downtown located by the theaters and came across this place where the pictures of their food looked just like Ahi & Vegetable's so I ordered my favorite. The spicy ahi hardly had any seasoning so it was bland...had to add shoyu. I was hoping it would've tasted the same or close to Ahi & Vegetable's since Poke & Bento-Ya is located so close to where I live...disappointed that it didn't. Guess we'll be driving to Kozo Sushi in Pearl City to satisfy my Spicy Ahi/Natto cravings. As for the people working there...very nice!

Always good service, but for the last few trips - there has been very little meat in the curry bowl.Last time we paid for extra meat and we got it. This time we paid for extra meat and got 3 literal pieces. I understand the plight of the small business owner, but this isn't right.

I wanted a salad for lunch and decided to try this place out. The menu is very similar to Ahi & Vegetable.I was greeted by a nice man who appeared to be the owner after speaking with him. I ordered the salmon/hamachi sashimi salad with a side of spicy ahi. The fish was fresh and I love their vinegarette dressing. The lettuce was fresh as well and not wilted at all. The food came out about 10 min later which was fine. There seemed to be just one person working in the back and they had many orders before me.This is only a take out window in the Pearlridge Makai Food Court. All of the tables for eating are in the center of the food court. The take out counter had a chiller with poke bowls and bentos ready for sale as well. The lighting for the restaurant is bright and the menus are clear. Although it is located in the food court, the noise level was fine. The food that I ordered was delish and fresh and I would definelty get it again.

Located in downtown Pearlridge in the food court next to Panda Express. This is our go to place in Pearlridge, when we don't specifically want sushi. They have a pretty big menu. There's bentos, poke, and sashimi. My Fiancé gets the bento that has Spicy salmon, spicy ahi and ahi poke. Definitely worth it. They don't skimp out in the fish. I think all their bentos come with miso soup. But I'm not a fan their miso soup. They also have different rice options; white, sushi, or black rice. Maybe brown rice too? Not completely sure.I always get the salmon sashimi salad. The salmon is good and the salad is fresh and crispy. I usually get the spicy dressing or sesame dressing with it. We always phone order ahead just in case the food court is busy. The food is usually ready within 10-15 minutes.

It's really a hit or miss here... most times the food is just enough to satisfy a craving but it's not worth the price.. I had a ahi katsu, it was very dry and over cooked.. while other times my coworker said it was really good. When I get spicy salmon and spicy ahi.. the fish seems old so it's extra fishy and has a weird taste. But sometimes it's good. There isn't any consistency but hey, we can't expect much for a quick meal. They are located in downtown pearlridge food court by the movie theater. Service was pleasant, staff are nice.

Excellent tasting food at affordable prices. First thing were noticed was the quality rice they served. Delicious indeed. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl. Cooked just right with tasty sauce, not that sweet. It was just right. Our bento cake with miso soup. It was a clear, clean broth that we thoroughly enjoyed. I'm glad we gave it a try and will definitely return again.

I'll give this place a 5 star just for not having that BS tip requests when paying by card. Very few places have integrity like this and doesn't harass their customers by panhandling and making them feel uncomfortable. This is a pet peeve of mine because you pay up front and if you put no tip, I can imagine some places would tamper with your food. Kudos to this business. You proved that it isn't on all card machines like many establishments claim, Like Zippys. Tips are gratuities and voluntary! Not mandatory and customers should not feel pressured to leave a tip of get their food messed with.

Got the shrimp tempura salmon and ahi for 15.99. Fair price for the average in hawaii but when we tried to eat it the ahi was like eating a piece of cardboard. It was ridiculously disgusting. At first I put one star but I'll give them 2. They didn't give me a hard time at all returning it. I flicked the ahi right in front of the cashier and cook and told them it was hard as rock. They took it like a champ. At least I got a free shrimp I ate before I returned it

The Ahi Katsu is awesome I ate it with the spicy Mayo sauce drizzled on top of it and it tasted even better along with the garlic sauce that comes with the meal.... It's best to order when the Japanese Cook that always wears a bandana on his head....

The fast food was located in the food court at the mall. A large menu with many choices, sushi, fried fish, bento boxes, teriyaki etc. i got the teriyaki and I would have preferred it with a thicker sauce. It was a bit watery for me and very little meat.

So although its been awhile, I’ve eaten takeout from here many times before and I always get the same thing all the time, the #14 Teriyaki Beef Bowl with Black Rice. You have your choice of rice ? including white but i can get white rice anywhere. I can’t get black. Good tasting and healthy. Comes with small cup of clear broth. $14.99 isn’t cheap by any means hence the 4 stars but it is unique and different from my usual, plus rising costs of ingredients, mall rent and just plain running a business in Hawaii, $14.99 is almost average. Its clean, employees are friendly and I’m satisfied so it works out fine. Will be back.

Soup served is different from usual miso soup given during take out. Yet it did it's work with clearing my palate and tummy to make room for other menu items. Here's what I tried in this order: Poke tasted fresh with limu, thinly sliced white onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Great for those seeking milder ingredients. Balanced well with spicy ahi and spicy salmon. Spicy Ahi didn't change my palate from mild to spicy. I've tasted spicier ahi elsewhere. Quite surprised. Expected more heat. Happy that ahi was fresh in taste and color. Spicy Salmon didn't live up to its name. One thing consistent is freshness. Sushi rice tasted plain. So eerie that my order number was 143. When cashier called my number 143, she also indicated no wasabi. I don't remember her asking me if I wanted wasabi. I was perfectly fine without having wasabi this time. I recall the last question she asked me, "Do you want rice or sushi rice?" Red ginger cleaned my palate for the evening.
