While on vacation here in March 2024. Our tour guide brought us here and highly recommend their locally made ice cream. ?I got the ube single scoop on waffle cone. My husband got the cookie dough single scoop on a classic cone. It was very delicious ? and I can tell it was homemade.We would definitely return on our next vacation ?

Tough to find the parking lot entrance and get into it, but once in Dave's is great. I've never had Hawaiian shave ice before, but it was really good. Lots of obscure flavors at Dave's. Great stuff. Stop in.

Our favorite spot for ice cream! You can tell when you walk in that the community just loves this place. The servers are amazing and so funny. They make us laugh every time we go! Our personal favorite flavors are the kulolo and Hawaiian mud pie. Can't go wrong though!

Lovely ice cream shop that's a staple after a big day out. Plenty of frozen treats that compliment the local ice cream, I'm a huge fan of the chocolate macadamia & the ube flavors! Staff have always been really kind and helpful, and it's never a long wait if any.
Ahh.. their ice cream brings me back to memory lane! It's like home made and at the same time it's a good quality store brought one. We were introduce to this ice cream parlor by our tourist guide/driver "Ian" on one of our Waikiki Hawaiian Tours on our way back to Waikiki. It was a surprise to have tried a locally owned ice cream in that place. Ube tasted good and so is the guava sorbet that hubby chose to indulge.

The Ice Cream is awesome along with the service and ambiance. I always get the three scoops of incredibleice cream and the last one I got yesterday was Banana Fudge, Strawberry,, incredible and, Vanilla Cheesecake.

My comment is Dave's Ice Cream in general not particularly this location as I see no other pace to voice my opinion. I have been an Oahu resident since 1970. Yesterday, I purchased 2 pints of the Hawaiian Mud Pie. As I was eating it, I noticed a funky taste. This was soon followed by projectile vomiting and explosive diarrhea. The ingredient list is massive! It's full of chemicals and ingredients I can't even begin to pronounce. I purchased this awful ice cream at Foodland in Laie. I will never ever buy this putrid ice cream again. Yuck! The 'local' boy Dave who founded this ice cream should be embarrassed to have his name on the label.
