Really fun place to watch a game or watch people surf. Very clean, easy parking and great staff. Food selection is a little limited and pricey, but very good. Steak pupu and kalbi were fantastic. Great beer and drink selection.

Food is ok. Service is efficient, friendly. Best part about this place are the large windows/view of surf pool

Short girl with all the piercings and tattoos helped us with all our questions, I think her name was Alyssa and she was super super sweet!! However, this one worker named Trevor I believe, he's tall-ish, he was rude and a little weird in sense of how he acted towards a certain coworker. Good food tho!

This place is stunning! Its very resort like and not super cheap, not too crazy expensive given you're in hawaii. This is like an upscale fun zone, cornhole, surfing, dining, drinks, kayaking, sup, paddle boards/bikes, jet skiing, lounging, water fun/slip n slide adventure course, a small white sand beach-- lots of space to have a more quiet moment or separate from the group. Parking also is very easy. Definitely will be back!

Shame on Wai Kai for pretending to be family friendly; but closing down the coffee shop and the Boardwalk where young families could allegedly get a shave ice and a kid friendly meal. So sad to disappoint the kids every time we try to go have fun in our own neighborhood. (To be clear, the Lineup looks fun and the Lookout is great. But that's it, and those aren't good for families with young children.) This place is geared toward older couples , which is fine; but definitely NOT for active families with littles.

Looking for a fun work out for the family? We had a blast enjoying the different activities at Wai Kai. Located in the heart of Ewa Beach's well established neighborhood Ocean Point/Hoakalei. You will pass the famous Ernie Els golf course and feel like you entered modern Hawaii. There is a wave pool that newbies and pros can utilize to enhance their surf game. I like watching the surf from the line up which is a casual setting bar restaurant that's also a good place to watch any sports. The downstairs area has a more upscale hip dining called Kitchen Door. Situated overlooking the lagoon with Amazing sunset views. Back to the workout...besides the surf. I enjoy the stand up paddle and kayak. I paddle out to 1 of the 3 floating cabanas get a tan and switch out to the duck pedal boat. There are night events such as concerts. We like to bring our dog to the farmers market on Thursdays. He makes a lot of other furry friends. I look forward to going back! Hope you can check it out.

Beautiful and clean! Service and music were great!!! Overall I would highly recommend trying this place out!! Felt like I was in Vegas entering the parking lot!

A place I would recommend, based on the service, the food, the location. Went as a guest invited to listen to my cousin play with a band. The crowd was pumped with the music, they were busy for a Friday night, so I think they were short handed but the waitress we had was still professional and attentive.

Bring your own SUP and paddle in Ewa for $10 all day is the second best deal in town behind the $1.50 Costco hot dog and a drink combo. Brunch and drinks were great too.

Visited Wai Kai with my aunt and decided to have breakfast at Kitchen Door. It was my first time on the property, and I must say, the beautiful views and modern ambiance make it a fantastic place to explore, dine, and try out new activities. While the Kitchen Door breakfast menu was straightforward, the food was enjoyable, and our server provided good service. The place, with its stunning views, was surprisingly empty, which made it even more enjoyable, especially with my two toddlers. As a local, I found the prices for activities a bit on the higher side. It would be great to see more affordable options. Adding an obstacle float island in the lagoon could be a fantastic family attraction and enhance the overall experience. Looking forward to returning to check out the wave when it's up and running. Overall, a positive experience with beautiful views, a modern ambiance, and room for some enhancements.

We were looking for somewhere to have supper and decided to visit the recently opened Wai Kai in Ewa Beach to see what they have to offer and found the Look Out Restaurant nestled on the second floor. The climb up to the restaurant is breath taking and like riding a wave not for the faint hearted or physically challenged. The waitress informed us later they have an elevator facing the handicapped stalls, OK, maybe next time. There were 7 in our dinner party and we ordered their house salads, chicken entrees, steaks entrees and pizzas dishes and we were soon wearing our happy face with the very generous portions, food quality, plating presentation and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. However, Look Out dessert's selection left us no choice but to go to the neighboring Cheese Cake Factory to settle down our sweet tooth. The wait help was very helpful in explaining their limited dinner options, tended our group with constantly filled water glasses, always a plus if they do this. The utensils were wrapped in napkins and they even offered chopsticks to speed us along. The Look Out offers a bird's eye view through huge glass windows of the mechanical wave and night surfers enjoying the water park. The ambiance is a bit perplexing, it seems to be struggling to be a restaurant but visually geared as a cocktail lounge, bare tables, metal chairs without cushions, high ceiling, lots of glass, stage for the musician(s). We felt sorry for the lone musician his ill assembled sound system and equipment took him nowhere to promote his entertainment efforts. The Look Out until it finds its place in the whole scheme of things and expands on their menu offerings is probably missing an excellent opportunity and ocean view location to becoming an outstanding venue for a up-scale supper crowd but until then it will remain to be geared for the younger drinking crowd, a place to hang out and enjoy the potentials of the Pacific Ocean. I know it will be a very magical place once the community has a chance to visit the Look Out.

Food was mediocre, i had the seared ahi. Wish i asked for it medium or medium well. Fish was "soft" inside and not firm as i've tried at other restaurants. Kalua sliders, i could have made at home for the over price. Happy hour POG, weak. Service was mediocre, server didn't check up on us regularly and it wasn't busy at all as we were pretty much one of couple tables that were dining there as it just opened. Observed server sitting down and chatting. I think dessert was the best "Buttah Cake". Moist, topped with vanilla ice cream, pretty sweet. What was really not to my liking? A fly kept buzzing around our table area the whole dining time & couldn't figure out where it came from?! Yes, I know outside, but we were dining IN and not outside. But yes, honestly, I won't be returning. Not much to look at if you go really early. There were entertainers practicing for a show down below in the surf area. VERY large atmosphere & look to see if this place will last here. I heard their farmers market is good.

A beautiful resort-like area where you can paddle board, hydro bike, and many other hydro activities and sports. We spent twelve hours here dinning at all the different restaurants and bars. All of the service staff from the restaurants to the hydro activities gave us the friendliest treatment. We tried the Veggie V pizza and the Kalua Sliders at the LookOut, both were amazing. Tried the coffee martini and the Lilikoi mimosa at the Wave bar, which my companion loved, I tried the mochi pancakes which were divine, not too sweet! Then we headed to the hydro activities area and duck paddle boated to the one of the floating gazebos. The entire day was relaxing and fun. I highly recommended this for anyone at least once. Note that there are plans to expand further within 5-10 years and it's helpful to know know that they provide sunscreen for those who forgot.

Spontaneously we stopped by for some brunch. I've been hearing about great things about this place, that we had to give it a shot. I'm so happy we did! The young lady at the register was very nice and sweet! Since it was our first time, she gave us some suggestions. We ordered the mochi pancakes and avocado toast. The pancakes were huge and fluffy! I would give them a 7/10. I give that because there's another place in town that has my favorite mochi pancakes. lol But the avocado toast? Bomb!! I'm coming back just for that and to try the fish and chips. I enjoyed that we were able to enjoy our meal outside. This place was great and we will be coming back!
