I love everything banana & when I saw an ad for Makua banana bread, I had to try it. At first, I was a bit concerned if it was going to taste as good shipped to me. They wrapped it really well. My order was for the original & chocolate chip banana bread. They taste absolutely delicious..moist, full of banana flavor with a hint of cinnamon. Truly heavenly. We were driving through Haleiwa and saw this banana bread stand and had to stop. We got a mochi and chocolate chip banana bread and truly it’s the best banana bread I’ve ever ever had in my life. The mochi one is UNREAL! We devoured it in no time. A must stop if you're on the North Shore! We weren't sure what kind of shop we were looking for, so we passed it up and missed the parking across the street, but there are a few parking spots right around the corner with a path that leads to the shop. We purchased the chocolate chip and mochi loaves. They were both really delicious; the mochi was super moist. If we were to go back, I would definitely get the mochi loaf again. I may have to check out their shipping options.
