Veggie Delight Foot Long

“Evening all......dinner bell ringing, but cooks on a rest day....what shall we have for dinner.... Yes let's try SUBWAY....on Kamaile St Ewa Beach..... Hubby wants a Pastrami, and grandson wants a Meatball w/Marinara Sauce......great fortunately I live a mere 8 minutes away.....n parking isn't full ... As I entered 3 customers are ahead...two at the register....and another just completed his order...yay! I'm next....pulled out my cell phone and relayed my very specific orders......ok, made all my choices for both sandwiches.....customer service was on point...choose the bread type, veggies, condiments, choice to have sandwiches, Requested to have sandwiches toasted, this makes them just a bit yummier!! Btw requested a bit more marinara sauce on meatball sandwiches No problem!! At the register I gave cashier 2 coupons $1.00 off for Foot long sandwiches: $.50 coupon for 6 " (Great to have an added saving tonite) Rushed home to devour hot sandwiches, they were delicious w/ fresh veggies and delicious oil/vinegar drizzled all over! 4* Covid protocols: signage at front door requesting for masks to be worn/all employees were masked/ noticed they wore caps also Chairs were in front of counter/ markers on floor for safe distancing..../all employees wore plastic gloves 4*Food quality n presentation: all veggies were fresh/ meats n cheese neatly placed in separate bins/ buns were in a clean rolling shelf/finished sandwich made very well( not skimpy on veggies!) 4*Customer service..since it was 7:00, there was no long line or crowd, I was greeted as soon as I was in line, Pat and Keanu were very attentive while I made my choices: I did have a few questions regarding my coupons n Pat explained which was the best way for my savings..they both were cheerful n pleasant ( which I always appreciate) 4* Store appearance/ cleanliness This is a very well maintained store, counters, Glass between customers/workers very clean. **Shoutout to Manager....your employees are efficient and very courteous, they really make a difference to customers who are tired, hungry n want a quick meal.....good job.Pat n Keanu... I'll be back!! Stay safe....Keep the masks on!!!“

“All the pre-set menu items look delish. Service was super fast and the staff were nice when I entered :) I got the veggie sandwich whole and it was HUGE. Like totally worth the price. My partner got the hula sandwich half and it was delicious. We were already in the area for the vet across the street so it worked great to stop by Ohana sub. Better than most sandwich shops on Oahu ❤️“

“I liked this place.. and would love to go again. Unfortunately I don't have images to share but next time I pick up a bit I promise to share! I ordered the birria melt (comes with consommé) and the salted lemon tea drink. My partner in crime and food ordered the lobster melt and we shared the prime rib fries with added bacon and cheddar.. I know. That's just too much. But we did it anyway muahahaha!! This was really good. I like the ample outdoor seating and the counter ordering setup. The staff was nice and the portions were large. I'll definitely go to this location again. I personally haven't tried the Chinatown location, but I like the airport one very much.“

“Came here to grab some sandwich coz I am in the mood for carb-loading. This location is pretty busy so you gotta act fast and make sure before you go in line you already know what to order. I got #2 Braddah (tender roast beef, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo) which is so good and for $10 it is all worth it. It's only good for one person and is already filling. I would definitely love to try their other menu. And this location was a pretty good one as they got plenty parking since it is in a plaza shared with other businesses. Mahalo for reading & happy juandering fellow Yeeps!“

Perfect ratio of meat to veggies to cheese, and just the right amount of the vinegarette. 100% recommend and looking forward to coming back again soon!“

Club Sub

“We went to the Jersey Mike's in Mililani for two giant sandwiches. One of got the number 9 and the other was the number 13, both on whole wheat bread. As before, we found the subs delicious and they make great leftovers. The meats were freshly sliced and all of the vegetables were also very fresh and they combined to make the best sandwiches. The staff making the sandwiches were very friendly and very efficient as well. We will be back for sure!“

“When was the last time you had a meal that really had an effect on you? No, I'm not talking about the last meal you enjoyed, the last time you burnt your mouth, the last time you had an overly sweet cake. I'm talking about the one that really made you have a paradigm shift in your actual life. One whose area of effect extended beyond the duration you were eating it, that embedded itself into your psyche, long after you had finished it.It's a gradually unfamiliar feeling whenever you get it, because as you grow older, that feeling becomes increasingly harder to find. Mostly because as you grow older, the more you get acquainted with the world around you, that it becomes rarer for you to find something that makes you reflect on it, to take a moment to enjoy it. Like your first bite of Kraft Mac & Cheese, or your first medium rare steak.Today, I enjoyed an extraordinary sandwich from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about sandwiches is a gross understatement. Sometimes a sandwich doesn't have to be a supermodel, laden with decadent, expensive ingredients, to have an effect. I was lost amidst the vast choices as I entered, but was guided through with customer service only Hawai'i could have. Equipped with the submarine sandwich and a cookie, I sat down.To say that a sandwich could fix me is absurd. But as I began my jaw workout of engulfing this tall gift from God, I had a sense of relief rush over me. My jade glasses were washed away, the world was no longer in monochrome. This toe-curling, juicy, girthy, aromatic, hefty sub was no match for my depression, my apathetic demeanor, nor my fatigue. It was a warm embrace on a summer day. A hearth in a snowy lodge. Like telling your friends you love them, instead of hiding it under your day-to-day greetings. For a little while, there were no worries of the past, present, or future. There were no nagging regrets of lost love, or a feeling of being in the wrong place and time. For a moment, I belonged where I was, in that moment. To be niche, like walking down the stairs in 'Hello, Dolly', with the theme song in the finale.Perhaps I was just hungry. Maybe I was going through it. But in this modern world of abundancy, I feel we often forget to hold onto what we find truly special, instead moving onto the next thing, always in a rush. This sandwich helped me remember that there are great things in this world, things to look forward to and to make life worth living, like spending time with good friends. It helped me remember I enjoy looking at the world through an optimistic lens. It reminded me to hold onto the bonds I've made with friends. Just because the vessel for my mental healing was in a sandwich, doesn't make the experience any less real for me.Not as a means of putting an item of monetary value on a pedestal, but to highlight an experience in my day, one that I didn't know I needed. A good meal loves you unconditionally, with a designated beginning and end. Like a soft embrace, but when it's over, there's no anguish, or conflicting feelings, just gratitude for what it was, and who it made you. Maybe I needed a reminder that we can take things that end, and see them as sandwiches. Just because I no longer have it in my hand, doesn't mean I shouldn't have ever gotten it. It is something that changed me for the better for a long time, and fulfilled me until the next meal. I don't regret getting it--rather, I'm really glad I had a good moment in my day, it was enjoyable. Things that end are not things that are bad. The end of a concert won't make fans ask for a refund. The loss of a beloved pet won't make the owner wish they had never gotten the pet. The separation from someone life-changing won't make me wish I had never gone to Lithuania. Rather, like a sandwich, I can look back with gratitude, because I enjoyed it. You have not met all the people, or sandwiches, in your life who are going to love and cheri“

“I ordered a kid's meal and it was just the right portion size. Not to mention, it was very tasty! The service of the food was a very short wait time. I did ask for very crispy fries, which I did not get, however they were not soggy, so not too bad. Unfortunately, the food vendors are disappearing. I can recommend Charley's as a good choice!“

“Our original plan was to get lunch at Taco Bell, but their drive-thru line was severely backed up and the indoor option was no better. We opted for Subway instead, which was just across the parking lot from Taco Bell. No problem finding parking, and the exterior of the restaurant was clean. Upon entering, I found it to be well-lit and clean as well. There were 4 employees behind the counter: 3 were building sandwiches and the fourth was the cashier. The workers worked well together, and remained in their positions along the line. Cashier Luisa polished off our experience with her positive attitude. I definitely recommend the Stadium Mall location.“

“Sooo everyone has had Subway sandwiches at one time or another right? If not then I got the Subway for you! Located in the small strip mall next to the Costco Waipio. I'm not gonna go into detail about the sandwich because I gotta say. I ain't had a bad sandwich at any Subway on this island, but this place has customer service in spades! The Bruddah making the sandwiches was awesome. Super friendly, super helpful in the choices, and super fast and efficient. He wanted my veggie order before my sandwich was outta the toaster and he hit it perfectly. Even offering extra everything if I wanted it. Who does that? And while I was eating in the super clean restaurant I even heard him making a sandwich via speaker phone for a customers wife and he was just as friendly and efficient with her. That's awesome. This place better watch out. This sandwich maker's CS skills are on point!Anyway only down side is the actual parking for the building. It's horrible but that's not their fault. Just park in the Costco lot near the Makai side and you should be all good. Rahja dat!“

“I've been there multiple times, they've gotten to know me and regularly ring up my order in record times. I've never had any complaints with the food. The only problem is that one of the ladies who works there often messes up orders, but you can see it as they ring it in so you can correct her. They're all really friendly.“
