This place was renovated to a takeout only place. The food is different. Worker lied to me about having the same house kimchee. Their kimchee is store bought as well as a lot of their food where they heat up for you and overcharge you.

Food is incredible. Picked up the vons chicken wings before, crispy, spicy, good, but the real gems are on their regular menu. Bulgogi fried rice was so good, I had to physically get up and walk away from it stop shoveling it into my mouth. All the kimchi is on point. Soups were great. My only gripe would be the price but isn't that just the way of things these days. It's worth the cost if you're going to bother eating out. I'd call ahead and go pick it up.

First time in my life ordering and it took 1 HOUR for just a meat Jun fish Jun combo plate. I'm not a cook, but who else waits an hour for a plate lunch? Me! My advice is if you have all the time in the world for good korean BBQ, this is the place for you. Recommend you call in before you pick up and dont tip. I'm going crazy in my car ATM. I could've ordered at zippys, ate my food, and gone home all in that hour I waited....Parking: Been in my car for an hour just streaming...

Could've been 5 star but damn they tied my plastic bag way too tight. I haven't eaten anything all day and was excited to eat my food, but there I was struggling to open it....... sad and hungry ....

Ewwww!!!The girl by the door was so dang rude! I was left dumbfounded! Told us point blank we are closed in the middle of the day. She didn't tell me anything else. It was just like "we are closed" then preceeded to close and lock her door! WHAT THE HECK! I was so confused because on the website hours says their restaurant is open that is why we went. Anyways we left but I was so mad! Ate their through food delivery services 1x during ending of covid restrictions, it was okay. Ate there another time when they first opened and there was an older lady who was our server she was the sweetest lady, made you feel like you are eating at your gm's house. The food was amazing but a bit pricey but worth it. Unfortunately, due this time encounter with the rude girl which left a really bad taste in our mouth, we will not try in person dinning again nor support them. I guess they don't need customers ?

There's a few tables but basically take-out; clean. I live in old EB & found this place tecently from Best in Hawaii. I had tofu soup w/ seafood topping and it's very tasty. Going back to try

Food is freshly prepared, so order ahead if you want take out. We dined in, so it was not an issue. The meat jun was the best I have ever had. Flavorful and moist, and something I will surely get again. The bulgogi was sort of like a loose stew, and it was great as well. The sides were tasty, am I am not sure what a couple of them were. I will ask on my next visit. The tables were two tops, and there are six of them. Everything was clean and comfortable.Recommended!

Best take out Korean food I've had so far in Hawaii. I'm white so I know a thing or 2. Karen is my wife so be careful.

Fantastic food owned and cooked by an Executive Chef. Worth a trip, for sure! They no longer have dine in. It's carry out only. It's a little pricey, but it's one of those "awesome hole in the wall" restaurants that tend to have the best food!!

I Love The food.. Got hooked on it, also had hubby hooked on it, Very good place to eat. I recommend it to people all the time! UPDATE: they told me they didn't have No More Chicken ? Idk if they ever started serving it again-

Awesome food, awesome owners! I had the meat jun and it brought me back to my time in Seoul when I went to Gwangjang Market and jeon alley. They cook it similar not a lot of batter. The banchan was fresh and original, not like just the regular local choices! It's not just your regular local Korea food establishment that serves large portions.. If you looking for fresh, authentic Korean food you should eat here!

Spoon has some great Korean food! If you're looking for some authentic dishes I highly recommend. It was a little on the pricier side but the flavors made up for it. The portion sizes were also much bigger than expected and are definitely meant to be shared. The service was good, employees are friendly, not too long of a wait and orders can be called in. There isn't seating inside so take out is the way to go!
