Our first food stop during our Hawaii vacation and we were very impressed. I ordered the spicy seared ahi poke bowl and asked to add some garlic shrimp and avocado--super flavourful and delicious. Had the bowl size which is smaller than the plate and I found it super filling. Food didn't take long to make. Lots of flavor and a nice kick to it. Husband had the Peruvian surf and turf. Great flavour but the beef was a bit chewy. Great atmosphere, few picnic tables to sit, typical random chickens roaming around, got bothered by some bugs falling off trees but I'm a city girl so I'm easily bothered with these things lol. Regardless would come again!

The food is honestly really mid. It’s 15 for the Yakisoba and +3 for the chicken. The food is freshly stirred fried but the waiting time is too long and the dish is just too salty. The chicken has no flavour and is too tough. And lastly the seating is filled with live chicken running around chasing your food on the table, so we have to eat at the car and my mum nearly threw up on her food, maybe because there’s too much rice compared to the meat and it’s hard to digest the food. If you’re okay with mid quality food and paying 20 for it, go for it. But if not would not recommend.

Fish in the Poke bowls is pretty “fishy” and old. Could use a few more vegetables.

Got same bowl as partner, mine had very little sauce and theirs was drenched, almost seemed like one bowl got the sauce for two? Rice seemed a little over cooked, furikake more for show than taste. Table area atmosphere great!

Aji Limo Truck is located on a large lot with about 4 (if I remember correctly) other food trucks - right across from Shark's Cove. Because it's a little tucked away (you have to walk past the food trucks at the front and get on the other side of the parking lot). The food here is amazing - specifically the poke. It's so fresh and flavorful.

We came here based on the glowing reviews and the pictures of the food that looked amazing. Unfortunately for us it didn't live up to the hype. I hate to give low stars but don't feel it deserves any more. We ordered the shrimp plate, the pupukea salad with chicken and the salmon sake misoyaki with rice and a side salad. The area surrounding the food truck has a great vibe to it and we had high hopes. When our food came out though it was disappointing. The shrimp plate was really good and we enjoyed it but not enough to want to get it again. The salmon misoyaki was just okay. I didn't love it and felt like it needed more flavor. I should have asked for an aioli on top or something. The side salad was really good though and I loved the dressing on it. The pupukea salad wasn't good at all! My adult daughter ordered it and took a bite and said she didn't like it at all. I sent her to a different food truck to get something else and I took a large bite of her salad to try it and the dressing was nasty! I could see why she hated it. I'm not too picky and like most salad dressings, but this one was sour and a little bitter tasing. I was really surprised that it's such a popular dish. It would have been so much better with the dressing that they used on the side salad. There was nothing here that would make us want to come back for the food, but we enjoyed the most beautiful sunset.
Spicy poke was so good I came back to eat it again another night.

Rice tasted like they microwaved old frozen rice. Bit into hard, cold chunks of rice. The raw fish that wasn’t covered in sauce had a weird taste like it wasn’t fresh.
