I was expecting meh food but it was quite good. The chicken and fries were tasty and went quickly. Also appreciated that they had an unsweetened tea option for drinks. Tad slow service but I am on island time so all good.

Chicken salad was fresh and yummy. Service Friendly. It was gluten free without the wontons.

Not bad! Really surprised that they had simple spam musubi to a gourmet beet salad that was reasonably priced for the amount. I would eat that refreshing beet salad again! Also, the bar right next to it is typical $8 per beer to $12-16 mixed drinks for those that need the cool down after the long trek back.Shared a beef burger with zuchinni. Didnʻt expect the zuchinni to be deep fried battered zuchinni. Thought would be grilled so that was disappointing and the patty was salty. Washed it down with beer which made it delish. Ahi fish burger is tasty! Chicken plate- meh.Loved the kope cafe on right.

Not sure what the patrons are smokin here but the food is spot on. Excellent service and freindlyBest vigan burger I've has in years and I order them a lot. We even got food to go because the price is rite and food is fresh and some of it you would find at a pricey restaurant at half the price here. Very refreshing !! And cant beat the scenery

Taro bun on the ahi and kalua pork sandwich was ok but overall pretty good. Was a quick lunch before entering the Waimea valley

I had a cheese burger with fries and my husband had the Hawaiian burger with fries. It was pretty good and the prices weren't too bad. We had to keep asking for ketchup because they gave us 3 packets to share between the 2 of us. Tables were very dirty and needed attention but no one took care of them even after it was brought to their attention.

Don't care about the food or atmosphere. If a PB&J sandwich takes 30+ mins, something is dysfunctional. Only reason why this place may be operational is the monopoly status it has at the Waimea Falls.

This is a simple walk up window with outdoor seating in a botanical garden setting. I expected to be disappointed by overpriced low quality fast food, but everything (kobe burger, hot dog, hurricane fries with cheese and furikake) was very good, and I was blown away by the kalua pork sandwich. This sandwich is truly a masterpiece. I have to say, presentation-wise it's probably the prettiest sandwich I've ever ordered. It comes on a soft taro bun, which is of course bright purple inside the crust. That purple bread holds a full portion of juicy meat, reddish pink pickled ginger, bright leafy greens, and charred golden pineapple. It was an overwhelming palette of edible color and I have to say I would be incredibly proud to have made something so beautiful that's delicious as well.

We stopped here to use the restroom and grab some hot beverages before continuing our drive around the island. It was a rainy, chilly day in Hawaii so hot coffee and tea sounded perfect. Hale Kope caught our eye, particularly their cardamom lavender syrup. I chose black tea with the cardamom syrup and my mom had a coffee. The syrup was so good and flavorful. We both enjoyed our drinks. They had great flavor and were served at a good temperature. Plus there was no line when we arrived and the employees are friendly. It was quick, easy, and affordable to grab warm up with a delicious beverage. We recommend this establishment to others!
