Good was probably the best Mexican on island. Loved the tortillas on the crunchy tacos. I sat outside in the evening and little white bugs were everywhere. Service was quick to order and relatively quick to get.

Taco Tuesday was fantastic. GREAT tacos. Live music. Overall great evening. We came back and had burritos for lunch the next day and those were great as well.

Owner replied with me rating 1 star. That’s because it takes 1+ hours for each order. If you order online 2 hours before, it will still take 40 min after you “check in” at the food truck. Also the hostile response from the owner is unprofessional. He said “I rate everything 1 star”, the reason why is because usually a customer rates a 1 star when they deserve it. Read all the 1 star reviews for this company and they always reply with some snarky response. Read:)

Chips and salsa is 4 bucks. Chips were stale and salsa was weird. Shrimp taco salad was ok. Service was kinda like going through self check out.

The chipotle burrito with carne asada was okay, but I'd go with something else next time. The chipotle is a bit much and it overwhelms everything else. They grill the tortillas, which is nice. The asada was okay, but there were some gristly pieces I didn't want to eat. There was some weird, random lettuce that I could have done without--it wasn't enough to actually be healthy, it got very soggy so it didn't add any texture other than mush, and it just felt weird to have in a burrito at all.The traditional with chicken as better, the chicken was good quality and didn’t have the gristle issue of the steak. It was better not having the overwhelming chipotle sauce.Food takes quite a while, in the neighborhood of 20 minutes for a simple burrito. There's more seating out back. They have some interestingly flavored cans of soda but they're probiotic and zero sugar and similar sodas I've had in the past have a bunch of alternative sweeteners and they were undrinkable, so I took a pass. They have Mexican Coke which is always a nice treat and pairs perfectly with a burrito, so it's a pricy soda but fine for a splurge.

This place is awesome! Authentic Mexican food tucked away in old Hale’iwa in a small food truck park right off the main road. Sit in the back yard for the best views. The food was great, the service was awesome and the tropical boho vibes were solid. Definitely check out this spot! ??

I was happily impressed by surf & salsa! Sometimes you never know what you are going to get at a food cart and they delivered! We ordered the green enchiladas- I was socked at how large the portion was! The area they have set up for seating is super cute too. Very on theme. It gets very hot in the area- so make sure to drink water!

Was recommended here by a local and the food did not disappoint. No alcohol but I'm learning it's not a thing with food trucks on Oahu. Hidden seating behind with a great island vibe. Wash your hands in the shell sink!
