First time I tried the Hilo location and it was just as good as the other ones in the islands. Fast service big plates and ono grinds. If you haven't been make sure you go. Recommend for everyone.

The food is amazing!! I got the Beef Curry and rice and it was excellently made. It came out before we had even been waiting 10 minutes, with the other dishes coming soon after. Not too sweet or too savory, and a very generous helping. The chunks of beef were pretty fatty, but there is still plenty to eat even if you leave those out.Vegetarian options: It's listed to ask an employee about vegetarian options, none of my part were.Parking: Large parking lot which tends to be pretty full, but still lots of spaces to choose from.

The shrimp soft noodles is my new favorite item on the menu. The portion of shrimp is very generous with a light very flavorful gravy. The vegetables are cooked well so it is soft and easy to eat but the broccoli is left sturdy, just how I like it. The noodles are soft and holds up well the next day when reheating the leftovers. The service is fast and meant to be as service is like in Japan, an eat and leave quickly so they can get the next customers in and served as well. But local style is eat and take your time, talk story hold up the table, so the wait time for a table sometimes is long. Service is great, one of the servers knows my husband's order. When he said he's going to order something different, she jokingly said "he's going to look at the menu but order the same thing." Sure enough, he ordered the combination but added won ton to the ramen so it was essentially a smaller size of his same order but he also got a mini curry and rice. Condiments are left on every table. A little oil goes a long way, so don't add too much oil. Do try the crunchy garlic but add a little at a time to your liking. They also have a chili powder which adds a little heat without changing the flavor of your dish. If you don't know what to order, the servers will answer any questions you may have.

It was my first time trying this restaurant. I was amazed that my orders were delivered after 7 minutes of waiting. Every bite was delicious ? I actually ate my lunch till none. ? I will definitely be back for more!!! Calamari Salad, Gyozas and Thai tea we're onolicious! Waitresses are awesome at times!

Food is ok. Big portions for a decent price. Service is seriously lacking. Our waitress hit me in the head, really hard actually, with a bowl of soup as she was putting it down on our table. Part of the soup spilled out and burnt my lap. All I got was a little “oh I’m sorry” as she laughed. We waited forever to order, had to keep calling our waitress over because she kept forgetting to get us water and utensils. Also forgot to put in one of our dishes, it came out as we were paying our check to leave. Would return in future if service improves.

Beginning of this week, my wife and I had lunch there. My wife got food poisened from the fried rice with shrimps. So, either the shrimps were not fresh or the cooked rice was a few days old and not correctly stored.

Incredibly quick service. Food was brought out super fast and our water cups stayed full. The food was tasty and fresh. We got the spicy tonkatsu ramen combo with the mini curry, katsu chicken, and gyoza. Prices are unexpectedly cheap for how much food they offer. Would go again and definitely recommend!

This is a great spot to have a quick bite to eat. The prices are good, and the service is friendly and quick. The portions are pretty large as well. Sorry, no alcohol is served.
