the Hilo Brewing Company, which has a nice selection of local beers. From the outside, apart from a few posters, this brewery is somewhat nondescript.You pass the chain link fence through the warehouse and on the left you will find the tasting room, which contains a small bar where you can enjoy the island's delicious creations. Here you will be greeted by extremely friendly people.We had “Flights of 6” at the beginning. A small tasting session of the beers available in the brewery.I thought the Mauna Kea Pale Ale was the best. MyMan the Hilo golden Al. A little hunger in between meals is also taken care of. There is a small stand in the brewery with tacos and borittos.Hilo Brewing also has a nice little gift shelf with high quality t-shirts, glasses and hats and a few other items. You can also buy the beer here to take home.

As a SoCal beer advocate, was visiting Kona and had to make the drive over to Hilo to visit this brewery. great spot to visit, only wish they had all of their beers on tap(instead of just 3),that are listed on their website available to enjoy. Might have been a good idea to have called ahead. Also wanted to grab a shirt, but they don’t carry much inventory.

Small brewery with lots of games and space to hangout. We played bags while we drank our beers. They were extremely delicious IPA and golden ale. There is a station where you can order some tacos or chips and salsa, basic casual food. Overall a great stop while in Hilo for some beer. The servers were friendly and welcoming when we arrived.

I didn't love the beer, but they did have mixed drinks. Amazing service and such a chill, low key atmosphere.
