(Didn't want onions & my order had onions) DUH!Wrong order not only on me but other customers as well.Be careful on your orders.Make sure they read it back to you TWICE!!Make sure you look at the price before you order & memorize it.My KOJI BURGER were all over the place. UNREAL....IT'S STATES ONLY 2 PEOPLE AT A TIME & OF COURSE THEY'RE WERE 6 IN THERE. EEK!!

Not what it used to be. Really sad when Kojis daughter and son in law left. This was our favorite place to go and have been going for 15 + years. The mac salad was the same but that was about it, the portions noticeably smaller, Teri beef plate was over cooked or old. We ordered Teri chicken plate, no onions. Got a ton of onions and 5 pieces of chicken and the paper the chicken is on.Bummer, hope the quality improves over time.

*Cash only* Small hole in the wall local take out restaurant located in downtown Hilo with awesome plate lunches. Go in, order what u want then wait outside until called when the order is ready. Had to visit first stop off the plane when in hilo.Had the kojis loco moco (teri burgers with fried egg and gravy, two portugese sausage and homemade kim chee) and did not disappoint. Will try their other daily menu items next visit everything looked winnahs???

If they only allow 2 people in at a time, why don’t they print the menus on the outside of the shop so customers can decide on what they want while waiting to go inside to order? It would speed things up and let people decide if they want to waste time standing outside in the sun.

Koji's locomoco goes way back, past 60+ years for me, and in my book is the king of locomoco back then and still now. Koji's locomoco menu still holds true over the passage of time and if it is not broken then why change. Koji's newer creation of delightful specialty treats appear over the counter wall which is a must try. One in particular that caught me off guard is Koji's breakfast burger. It is a gem of a treat that brings about a whole new taste to burgers that may catch you too off guard and wanting for more.
