Overpriced small portions. I paid $20 not including tip for that little dish. Great dish as far as that went especially for a place such as the Big Island, but realistically I could get the Roast Port Chow Fun dish in Flushing Queens, NY and it would be at least double the portion for the price of $10.99

What a disappointment. I've been going here for the noodles for years and would have given New China a good review back then, but I think they recently changed management & cook so my last meal was disappointing at best. The service was definitely new people, and the woman who took my take-out order pretty much said so. She was friendly but confused about my order - all very simple dishes that we've ordered many times: fired rice, chow fun, spring rolls. This was our go-to place for this stuff. The chow fun had so much soy sauce or other dark sauce that it was practically black & extremely oily. The spring rolls were under done inside (yuk) and also too greasy. And the fried rice - which is the measure of any Chinese restaurant - was bland and used the wrong kind of rice. For the last 15 years this place may have rated a 3 in general and a 4 for the noodle dishes. Sad to say it now rates only 2 stars in my book and I have to look elsewhere for good noodles.

I wanted to give no stars. Super poor service, owners had lots of attitude, and food was pretty terrible. Getting an upset stomach thinking about it. No stars for me.

People are nice and the food is good! I recommend the spareribs and fried rice plate. Or if you are in the mood for soup, then get the wor wonton soup. It's large and warms your soul!

Admittedly we arrived for a late lunch at 2p. However, for $22, I expected much more variety on the buffet. The spring rolls were good, but no eggrolls on the buffet, no lo mein, no soups, no salads and no desserts. Find something else if you want Chinese buffet in Hilo.

Can get a decent chinese buffet fix here. I liked the food for the most part. Will definitely have to go again and update.

This is a small restaurant that offers an extensive menu of typical Chinese entrees. In addition to the menu entrees, they offer a lunch buffet that is reasonably priced.

Filipinos, NOT Chinese people, own this disgusting place. Why can't Hilo have JUST 1 authentic, excellent and upscale Chinese Restaurant?

Food was great! I remembered this place for five years ago while visiting Hilo today! Friendly staff/workers and owners! Parking lot is good and the buffet line has great choices of food! What's shown on my plate is my go to there! .. try 'em out!

Chinese buffet was plentiful had many entries to choose from but temp of food could be hotter ...it was in a warmer. Service was good but because buffet didn't check on us as would've liked. But when called on quickly came and friendly. Would definitely go again maybe for dinner?
