No wonder nobody else ate here while we were there. Worst pizza I’ve ever eaten. Cheap frozen pizza beats this. To top that, we had an obese teenage girl working the counter that was LAZY, not helpful, and obnoxiously rude. Here only interest, was the young boy that walked up and lounged around on top of the food counter to amuse her. Never ever eat here. It’s a nasty dump. I could go on and on, but you get the point. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Even though the menu was off we knew exactly what we wanted, gyro plate! My love language is good food and that ultimate bite of goodness. Beautiful afternoon in Hilo. It was so good to sit and take a break to such yumminess!

I recently visited Pizza Ala Slice located at the Hilo Mall and I must say that it was a terrible experience. The customer service was horrendous, to say the least. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, and it felt like they didn't care at all about the customers.To make matters worse, the food quality was also subpar. The pizza I ordered was not only cold but also had a strange taste. It was almost as if it had been sitting there for hours before being served. The toppings were sparse and tasteless, and the crust was dry and hard to chew.Overall, my experience at Pizza Ala Slice was truly miserable. The poor customer service combined with the terrible food quality left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I do not recommend this place to anyone and will not be returning. Save your money and go across the street to S&P Pizza in the KTA plaza for a much better and cheaper dining experience.

Great place to get a slice of pizza, spaghetti or gyros! However, customer service wasn't that great on my most recent visit. I was over charged and the cashier argued instead of verifying her calculation. She refused to be accountable for her mistake and never apologized to me. I'm glad another worker assisted the cashier to resolve the situation. Soon after, the boss arrived to confirm that the charges have been corrected. I hope they will consider providing customer service training, so this doesn't happen to other customers. It was very frustrating because of how the situation was handled... In any case, their food is pretty good, so I will probably return in the near future.

I don't like eating super heavy when shopping in the mall so the gyros are perfect. Got my family ordering them now lol. I also love their pizza because it's different. Thick slices and perfect serving. I haven't tried anything else but always see lots of people ordering the cheese bread and ceasar salad. Always tell myself I'm going to try other things but I always end up getting the gyros haha. Also, the owner is always super super sweet to me (I think he's the owner). When I ordered once, he adored my daughter and gave her a lollipop even though she was super shy. We also passed by to use the bathrooms before we left Hilo and he remembered us and gave my daughter another lollipop.

The Gyro's were amazing. Not as good as Danos Doner but for what you get and the price, its definitely worth trying. I am not a fan of lamb but the mixture of beef and lamb hides the lamb flavor well. Keep up the great work. Only Gyros available anywhere that I know of. Mahalo.
