After having spent a month in Japan, coming to Hawaii was a bit of culinary shock. Imagine the delight when we found this place! The tantanmen ramen was a version that very few Japanese ramen restaurants offered. IThe Tetsumen version was divine - and equally tasty were the agedashi tofu and the takoyaki! I would be a regular here if I didn’t live in Berlin ;)

Delicious ramen- a must stop in Hilo. I’ve been twice and its been great both times. Tonkotsu miso ramen is delicious and a fair price. My friend got the vegan curry ramen and was very satisfied. You can get 4 extra pieces of char siu for $5 which I think is pretty cheap!
Amazing staff and so helpful. My daughter was grooving and doing her happy food dance and she dropped her bowl and they were so kind about it. Family friendly lunch! Totally a Hilo Gem!
