This listing needs to be removed by Yelp. They don't operate here anymore. There is no storefront that sells to the public anymore. Do not try to find this place because it doesn't exist anymore. We found out the hard way

Where else can you get FRESH fish prepared just the way you like it?! Only at Ahi Assassins! Yessah! We always go back for more!

Don't go looking for this place like I did. This place closed in 2020 during the COVID pandemic. As much national spot light this place had not even the locals or surrounding businesses knew this place ever existed or that it closed down. Hopefully this review will help others to not waste their time driving around looking.

The marketing guy uses dating apps to spread the word about this place - disrespecting women who are there for dating, not to be lied to and manipulated into going to Ahi Assassins. How disappointing. It's one thing to mention or recommend a place, I would've loved to try it. It's a whole other thing if you're going to such extremely disrespectful and manipulative lengths to meet up with as many single women as you can in person (who've spent their time and energy thinking they're on an actual date) for the sole purpose of manipulating them into going there. Superb places and quality humans don't need to use tactics like that - I can't support a place that endorses that kind of behavior no matter how good it is. If it's so good, you don't need to be doing that.

We couldn't find the building. They need to update their address and Google opening times. They also didn't pick up when we called.

Food looks amazing. Google maps pin is not right. Looks like the prep shop moved without updating the pin, the phone number, or directions. There is a post from the owner but can't get a single address to pick up food near this location

CLOSED. Tried to visit this location in early March, and closed. Thankful to the nice gentlemen who steered me to another poke place. KBay

I found out that Ahi Assassins was no longer serving poke rice bowls the hard way, but fortunately, the owner, Josh had freshly caught ahi on hand, so we were able to order a poke kit and mix it ourselves in the car and it was fantastic. I also realized that I actually preferred mixing the poke myself with freshly cut ahi rather than having scoops of poke that was pre-made and sitting around for who knows how long. The poke here was so good that my wife recently ordered a couple more poke kits and some fresh sashimi for a dinner we were hosting in California, and everyone loved it, including the photos which Josh sent from the day before when he caught the fish. We definitely plan to order from here again in the future, and I hope others will support this great, local business.

Really hard to find them. They operate out of their prep shop. Lucky for me they picked up my phone call and helped me find them. But the poke is some of the best I had. If you are spice fan try their lunatic. Spicy poke was also good. You can order online and select waiting outside the door option or pay them in cash.

Due to Covid, they operated differently. As their Yelp's page and their website said, their main store is closed and you are required to order online for pickup. If you order online, you can always send a text to them to confirm for pickup. One thing is to be patient and if you don't get a response because they might be at sea fishing for your tuna. If you are by the area around 1pm or 2pm, drop by their shop which is next to the car repair shop, to check if they are there. If they are there, you can pay cash and order the ahi tuna poke. I ordered online and requested to be pickup for a specific date but when I got there, the store was closed. I returned the next day to try again. I finally got them and they told me they were at sea. They were preparing my food and told me to return in one hour. We came back and got the small platter($60). I even got a chance to actually take a picture of the tuna that they fished that day before they cut it up. I don't know if you know but in Hawaii they fish for yellow fin tuna. That mean the time that you are here, you will be eating yellow fin tuna. Now let's dig into the poke to find out how good and fresh it can be. There were four different sections with different flavors/sauces(Chef's Choice, Lunatic, Spicy mayo, Sesame Shoyu) in each one and the middle section filled with the smoke fish dip(not sure what type of fish). I picked up a cube of tuna and right always I stuffed into my mouth. Most important thing was no fishy taste at all. The meat texture was firm while chewing was soft with no sinew(white connected tissue). Not only their freshness was off the scale but their quality was also top notch. Each sauce went perfectly with the tuna. We thought the middle section was just a dipping sauce and nothing special. That was a mistake I made, I tried the sauce by itself and the smokiness of the fish was all over my mouth. It definitely will taste great on top of the rice and top it off with some furikake (too bad I didn't have the chance to try it). They don't provide rice due to pandemic. (If you need white or brown rice, you can drop by Food Land supermarket and get a pint or a quart.) After I had it from it, I can't even comparison to the poke shop in New York. Even on the islands, it was the best of the best. If you even have a chance of trying it, you will know what I mean. Good luck on locating and find the right time to get the tuna, right out off the sea!!!

Yum. Yum. Yum! Always... and yes, I mean, always top notch! I love this place so, so much

Definitely worth the hype from the Worth It video. I wasn't sure what to expect but the portions were big and the food was good. I'd suggest going a bit earlier during lunch because the baked fish was sold out--which is the dish that was featured on Worth It--by 1:30/2pm. I ended up getting the pork with a side of poké and it was delicious. Would recommend to my friends.
