I bought macho Burrito ? and the rice is hard. I been going to Alejandro in San Diego but this is my first time that the Burrito is not good. Please cook your rice well.

This hole in the wall osy favorite restaurant on island. Don't be deceived by the exterior, the food and people on the inside are fabulous. The bar next door is a great place to grab a cerveza while you wait for you food (if taking out).
Owner needs to run his restaurant not employees. Mar 2022 food was good, restaurant busy. Feb 2024 food & service greatly declined, restaurant empty, Japanese server limited English, alcohol no longer served at lunchtime, it’s Mexican food & no cilantro? Sour cream? tomato?

Amaze balls. We were driving to the Botanic Gardens and found this place on Google, reviews were good so we stopped. Everyone said it was to go only but there is a bar with seating. Tiffany was a delight, the actual bar was so unique and cool, there’s a restroom, music, TVs and, of course, the tacos. Oh. Em. Gee. We are from Colorado and we have some amazing Mexican food. We even have our favorite hole in the wall taco joint run by a mom and daughter. Alejandro’s tacos were fire. I mean, we love our taco place at home but holy moly we wish we could take Alejandro’s tacos home!!! I had shredded chicken and they were so juicy and flavorful and delish!!! Hubby had carnitas and asada. So. So. Yum!! The rice and beans weren’t terrible but weren’t anything to rave about so next time (tomorrow) we’ll just do tacos. We literally talked about the tacos the rest of the afternoon and evening yesterday! I’m not sure if the place is exactly accessible and the parking is scant but you definitely need to try it! At least for take out! But the music was jammin’, the beer was cold and the folks friendly and we loved it! One of our favorite things about traveling is finding the unexpected and being blown away. This was totally one of those experiences! We will tell everyone we know visiting Oahu to look up Alejandro’s. And hopefully Tiffany will be there.

Love this place so much. They have lice music certain days and they give huge portion sizes. I love their burrito bowl, and their rice is the BESSSST. They have parking available in the back, their workers are super friendly and chill, and the overall atmosphere is very pleasant. I'll be back here next week for sure!

Disappointing, it's just a bar that serves a little mediocre "Mexican" food. Little service, not good quality food. Not much ambiance... I don't intend to return unless I'm desperate for a margarita and happen to be nearby.

We visited as it had almost five stars. Food is not authentic. Chips are store bought not made in-house, enchilada sauce tasted like tomato soup which was not bad but I wanted enchilada sauce. We ordered a bean and cheese burrito and beans were good but sour cream had a funky taste .
Good Good food, no chicken options though. Salsa & chips is store bought chips but salsa was good. It was good & service was great. Atmosphere is very pick up and go & sit outside.

It used to have better quality when he was just a food truck outside of moose's. It's a real bummer how the meat quality went down. It was expensive then and it's even more now. I just can't support it anymore.

We just arrive to the island and my husband and I we was craving Mexican food and searching in yelp we find this place 30 mins from the airport so we give a shot because the reviews, I need to say this to the owner that you have a very valuable employee and thats the main reason to this place existence , we meet a very outgoing and energetic bartender and hostess, Tiffany what a great personality make us feel like we are at home with friends , the food was really good and tasty no problem with that , we are a real Mexican born couple so we know a real Mexican food taste like , so thumps up , when we go back to Oahu we will definitely come to see this place is totally worth it , and thank to Tiffany for being a such a amazing person and make us feel so good while we eating at this place we just hope Tiffany still there to have a great service and a good time . Thank you .

Unassuming location, possible to make it a date night: laundry and Alejandro's (Mexican) food. There's a takeout side and a bar side. The bar side has the same menu. Good selection of adult beverages, also Coke Zero and Diet Coke (and they know there's a difference). Veggie nachos are possible. Pinto beans. Good food, unassuming. Simple: order, eat and pay. Has some parking.

Hooray!!! We found this place on accident. We were on a trip back to Honolulu after 32 years and stumbled on This restaurant. Tiffany you by far are the best barkeep that I have ever met!!! Hold up wait a minute, let me put a few more words in it! We were looking for some authentic food. Anything other than the Waikiki touristy cuisine when our GPS led us to Alejandro off the beaten path. We walked into the take out spot when we were told that they actually have a bar next door. We decided to give it a try. Tiffany welcomed us in and quickly informed us that we had about an hour of happy hour left. Let me tell you this...there is nothing like good people that just want to be good people. The food was DELICIOUS! The customer service by far was the BEST that I have ever received. Randy, a local patron made the afternoon so much fun. Nothing like watching football in a neighborhood spot, eating good food, having great drinks and being treated like a regular, to make a great vacation. Thank you Tiffany and Randy for making this a fun vacation. I'll see you all next year! Run run run to this place for some great food and a good neighborhood vibe.
