The quality control of their food in kahala loca significantly declined over the last year. Chicken breast is not edible, due to toughness. I understand i can't expect roys quality control, but used to be better. I mentioned the issue few times, seems like the management does not really care, since I guess they have enough foot traffic. I will definitely will not come back to the kahala location

Ok I gave them a second chance. They did well, got my order right and my salad was prepared well and it tasted like how an Aloha salad supposed to taste.

Impossible Girl

i ordered a half ahi salad. i used to get a healthy portion of ahi seared and sliced. now they barely sear and the portion is a flat piece of ahi or whatever it really is.

Ordered the mini salads the "ono island ahi" and "big island beet". The ahi needed more work: it wasn't cooked at all on the outside part (after requesting) and wasn't cut all the way through (simply scored), so it was difficult to eat as individual bite-sized pieces of fish. It was hard for me to eat because I did not have sharp enough cutlery to cut it myself. It was also a filet with the sinew left on the bottom so it chewed like rubber; a very thin filet with a depressing, bland rub. I would suggest soy sauce just to mimic the preparation of poke... which we all love and are familiar with. The "bib" is okay but a small tiny scoop of goat cheese and too much dried cranberries. Their service was very quick and friendly, we will not order again and because I gave tips % after paying.

Love this place! Super fresh veggies and lots of different options - all of which have lettuce in them. Their gyro is super good and they stuff it super full with lettuce too. I got the chicken wrap this time and it was so Ono. They couldn't do light mayo tho since they pre-make the batch of chicken but it was delicious and very filling. Friendly and fast workers, clean setup

My review is limited to the tomato bisque soup with pita bread. Ordering here is simple. All take out here. There are tables and chairs in Kahala Mall that you may use to enjoy your meal. My order was to go. Service is generally quick. I ordered my soup during a non busy time, so there was no wait. But that also means, the soup is in a heated pot that's been there for some time. Service is 4 out of 5 stars. They'll toast up the pita bread which is nice. The soup is on the thick side. You could add hot water to thin the soup. I enjoy the soup as it is. This soup is comfort food. Rich, creamy tomato soup. The soup is a bit oily. Soup is 3 out of 5 stars. Ambiance is 2 out of 5. There really is no ambiance. Aloha Salad is a counter type place with just an ordering counter and display of salads and toppings. Not much else.

We ordered delivery and there was a live cockroach in the takeout bag. Half the lettuce was wilted. The item description said there would be brown rice, but it was quinoa. Normally I wouldn’t care about that, but like… wilted lettuce at a salad place? And a cockroach. We couldn’t eat our food because of that.

VERY disappointed in this location. I ordered at the counter a design-your-own salad and soups. Cashier was busy inputting something, so I waited patiently. When he was ready for me to order, he just looked at me...no greeting, no "thanks for waiting", nothing. My order was very simple: lettuce, 4 toppings, cheese, and dressing (no protein that needed to be cooked) and 2 soups. Way overpriced, but I'm pregnant with a toddler and did not have the energy to make it myself. After ordering, I waited in front for over 20 minutes. It was a Wednesday around 1pm. It was busy, but not chaotic. And they had enough workers, at least one at each station and there weren't too many other customers waiting. Once I saw the people who ordered after me get their orders, I checked to see where mine was. They didn't really respond, but by their faces and responses, it was as if they had lost it and scrambled quickly to make it. No apology or explanation for the long wait/confusion. And when I got home, they forgot 2 of the 4 toppings. And the toppings I did get, were very small portions. I've been to other locations, and the quality of product and service was terrible here in comparison.

Let's start with the positive: I placed an online order for the Kahala location, which was convenient. I always appreciate a place that lets me order online instead of needing to call. My husband went to pick up the food, and everything was ready pretty quickly. We were both hungry, so quick service is always appreciated. The not-so-great: I made some changes to the salad I ordered as I cut dairy from my diet. I asked for no cheese and the green goddess dressing instead of something creamy. I was disappointed when I opened the box to find parmesan bits and casear dressing instead of what I ordered. In general, I know they have fairly good food as I've eaten there before. It's on the pricier side for what you get, if I'm being honest. I would have liked to get the correct order this time around, but since it was a takeout order, there wasn't anything I could do. Note: If you're planning to order directly at the counter, you can at least watch them make your food to make sure it's correct.

This place was inside Kahala mall food court by Whole Foods. The foods were good and interesting. They have a whole menu of salad that I feel cater to a lot of people with different diets. The staffs were friendly and fast to make your salad. It's a perfect place to grab lunch that would not make you feel all heavy and bloated. The only thing is that it's inside the mall so seatings are hard to find. Overall not a bad salad bar.

While I was doing an Amazon return, Deb went to get our lunch. She picked up the Kamela Shrimp salad. The salad had a bed of spinach, topped with avocado, sliced egg, two strips of bacon and six shrimps. Wow,it was delicious. Enjoy
