Had an amazing dining experience with friends. Delicious appetizers to share…shrimp scampi, crab cakes and clams were all great! My main course was the Osso Bucco and it was spot on down to the marrow! Had their salmon piccata as leftovers next day and it was so tender and moist. Once again, an amazing experience at Assaggios. Our server, Amy, was very attentive and Jade another phenomenal table side Caesar salad for us. The food was outstanding. Top notch seafood in delectable sauces with farm to table vegetables...unbeatable. Beautiful views of the marina and surrounding mountain ridges. This restaurant has become our number one special dining destination! Given new ownership, they are excelling as more recent reviews will show :)

Although the food is always delicious why scrimp on the parmesan cheese? $100 take out and two teeny tiny cups of cheese? The cheese makes it! We've done take out several times and have to beg for parmesan cheese.

Assagio is my favorite! When I want to eat pasta that's my go to place. Service is always good, food is always good. We just went to a retirement party and the food was delicious.

Second time back since it reopened and I still believe everything is better than before. Everyone I talk to about Assagio's agrees with me too. My Linguine Vegetable was loaded with vegetables JUST how I like it. I had them use marinara sauce and it was awesome. Whole experience from greeting at the door to exit at the end was first class.

We've been to every Assaggio on the island and the Koko Marina location is hands down the best...best tasting, best service, best view/ambiance. They're so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is a lot more "homey" which makes the experience very comfortable, like a neighborhood restaurant. They even have a small bar that you can have a nice meal alone. (I've done this a few times when I was stuck for a place to eat alone.) I'm a creature of habit and always get the Chicken Alla Sorrentino with red sauce but I tried their Chicken Putanesca recently and it was amazing!
We had a nice dinner here with friends and out of town family members. The atmosphere was very comfortable. We could carry on a nice conversation between all six of us. We started the dinner with Caesar salad, made table side. This is something you usually see at pricier restaurants so it was really nice to experience it here. The salad was great, nothing like freshly made dressing! My entree was the clams casino linguine. This too was very good. It was made with fresh clams, large pieces of bacon and onions. The sauce was light, which allowed you to enjoy the flavor of the clams. Nice blend of all the ingredients and the linguine was cooked just right. For dessert, I shared some spumoni. I was really full after finishing my entree but had to have some dessert. The spumoni was good, it didn't really stand out but probably because I was stuffed at that point. The service was good. It was a busy night but the food came out in timely intervals. I would definitely come back again!

We have now dined several times at Assaggio Ristorante in Koko Marina Shopping Center in Hawaii Kai. We dined there again last evening. It seems to get even better at each visit. My only disappointment was one time when they ran out of the fresh fish, but because it is prepared so well, that is understandable. The owners are very much hands-on, so service and food preparation is outstanding. I recommend Assaggio very highly. It was very busy, which shows how popular it has become, so I advise you to make a reservation.

So happy that 3 people decided to take over this Asssagio's in Koko Marina! This location is our family's favorite because it is so convenient ( we live in Aina Haina) and the food is the best of all locations! It faces the marina and has a nice water view. It's so nice and bright inside and always has a red rose on each table! Service is always attentive and personable! Also, it's very easy to make reservations! One of the owners took my reservation too! My husband thought the food was even better than before and he is very particular!! We started with the Cold Antipasto salad: a very nice spread of crisp romaine lettuce, tomatoes, olives, sliced red peppers, pepperoncini, thin slices of salami and prosciutto and cheese with a fine vinaigrette! Also ordered another appetizer Zuppa di Clams which had a dozen clams in a tasty marinara sauce! So tasty that i dipped the warm soft table bread to slurp up the sauce! My daughter said the Tableside Caesar Salad was perfect! Just the right amount of dressing and light on the anchovies! Amy did an excellent job! Everyone enjoyed their entree: Veal Marsala, Veal Parmesan & Veal Sorentino. The Veal was very tender and moist. Our host had the Special: julienne chicken with shrimp and capers in a bed of linguine. He also had the Flan for dessert which was the best he ever had! Will definitely be back! Bravo to Marvin and his staff!
