We always plan a visit or two here when we are on Oahu. The food is delicious! I had the clams with angel hair pasta and my husband had the sausage puttanesca. The bread was fresh and still warm. The tables are lovely with tablecloths and cloth napkins. The only issue I have, which I have noticed before, is that a service area is right next to the main dining room and there is a lot of noise coming from that area, dishes clattering and ice being dumped from one large something into another. It is a little annoying. But overall it is lovely and definitely worth the experience. Our host and server were both very nice!

We are a local family and restaurant is located in our neighborhood. The wait staff excellent. Our waters were kept topped and staff very attentive to our special requests. We had the Caesar salad prepared tableside...lettuce crisp/fresh, tasty amounts of garlic, anchovies etc etc. Delicious. Fresh fish was Monchong and prepared perfectly. The chicken olio was very tasty and we added capers to it. Instead of pasta opted for the fresh veggies and cooked perfectly...carrots, onions, red/green peppers. Definitely go back soon.

My son and I visited here yesterday and had a wonderful experience. I’m sorry I do not remember the name of our server, but she was excellent and attentive without being overly so. We split an appetizer of calamari which we try at every single restaurant that has it on their menu. Needless to say, since we eat out a lot, we have a lot to compare to and this was by far the best calamari we have had anywhere all over the US. For an entrée, my son had the New York strip steak with linguine and sautéed mushrooms. He loved it, he said the steak was perfectly cooked. I had the chicken puttanesca, which was divine. It was a little more spicy than what I’ve had in the past with puttanesca, but it was still delicious. We will definitely be back!

1st time I have not had a fantastic experience here. The waiter was new and inexperienced flicked caesar salad and dressing all over one of my guests and did really know what to do or how to apologize. My other guest ordered a Chicken and Shrimp dish with a white wine sauce. There was no shrimp and no sauce. We brought it to the waiters attention and he brought it back with sauce but still no shrimp. My other guest ordered a dish with a red sauce and there wasn't hardly any sauce and the the pasta that was served was clearly hard and all stuck together and not able to be eaten. We did complain but a % off the bill but it still was not the stellar experience I have come to know. Very disappointing as my guests were from the mainland and we were looking forward to a wonderful dinner. It fell really short in more than one aspect.

Over the years we have come to expect excellence from Assaggios and this visit was no exception. Winnie was our server and she certainly understood customer service. She checked in on us often and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The other staff members were prompt in clearing our plates and refilling our glasses. The food was outstanding and the presentation spectacular. I highly recommend Assaggios. We'll be back.

Went for lunch on a Wednesday and had pasta with meatball/sausage and house salad and espresso coffee. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommend for a leisurely lunch. Haven't dined here at dinner yet.

Very nice staff and food is excellent! The Chicken Piccata is outstanding. Try the shrimp and basil for an appetizer and dip their bread on the sauce. Absolutely delicious! The Ceasar salad is also amazing. We love dining here!

Service was good but I think our server forgot to tell us of any specials. Food was tasty as usual and portions reasonable. It got more noisy as more people came in but we were already on dessert so it was ok. Tiramisu is always good!

We eat at Assagios frequently but on this visit we had to send the roasted potatoes back because they weren't roasted. A few minutes later they returned not much better cooked than before. Took them home as left overs and after a few minutes on roast in the air fryer they were good. Not sure why the kitchen couldn't get it right?*

Assagio's Bistro is one of our long-time favorite spots. The ambiance is quiet enough to hear the conversation, but relaxed enough for joyful banter. Food? Well, I've been ordering their fish piccata for years, and remain pleased. I skip the starch (get enough devouring their delicious bread) and savor the mound of vegetables. Our only rating “ding” was our needing to flag down our server and couple of times - she simply disappeared leaving us in limbo for several minutes. In all, I hesitate to tell others how great AB is... I'd like to keep it to myself!
