Delicious and fresh Avocado Smoothie! Best one I've had yet on the island! I will definitely be returning to try some of the other food and drink items offered here.

Following super Yelper Nadine, I was in the Ala Moana area and decide to stop in on Aunty Gigi's Cafe. They are located on the corner of Keeaumoku and Young Streets, on the Ewa/Makai corner. You enter the parking from Young street. Nadine had glowing reviews of her purchases and I have to concur with her thoughts about Aunty Gigi's. They have been open for about a month and are in sort of a soft opening. Their smoothies and Acai bowl offerings/pricing are prominently displayed on the wall. The savory offerings, musubis and bentos are not yet listed but some are available. On this day the spam/egg musubi and the Kimbop were available as well as the meat Jun bento. This is a small operation so I had a chance to try the savory orders made as ordered. It was fun talking to Aunty Gigi as she prepared my order. She is very friendly and easy to converse with. Her "cafe" is compact, very clean as she totally gutted out the space brought in new equipment and fixtures. I took home the Kimbop, meat Jun and acai bowl, and also brought home one of the musubi to try, compliments of Aunty. The savory offerings are on the counter. When I went the first hour they were open Aunty was in the process of making the savory offerings. The smoothies and acai bowls are of course made to order.Delicious offerings close to Ala Moana shopping center.

Awesome fresh Korean Kimbap and snacks. Daily bentos are great. I've also had the bentos which are so good. The other day they had mini musubi, great snack and perfect size for the keikis. The owner was super friendlySuggest calling ahead for sushi orders since they make them fresh as needed.

My friend and I were walking and randomly decided to stop by this cute little cafe on the corner of the street. When we went inside, we were immediately greeted by three super friendly Korean ladies. Aunty got to work making our smoothie using real frozen bananas and avocado. It was creamy and delicious, perfect for a hot summer day. I would definitely come back here again!

This is a very small place, but the two ladies that run it are so friendly and the food is delicious! My go to is the gimbap, but the bentos and acai bowls are also great. Call ahead to order and check what they have for the day.

Looking for a bright rainbow it's right here at Aunty Gigi's Cafe!Who hasn't passed Keeaumoku Street and not see this place and it was a matter of time I'm craving an açaí bowl you know where I'd be going...Though it's clearly noted with a huge image of it right on the huge window you wouldn't know it if you viewed her instagram page @auntygigiscafe with posts of her bentos lol! Yes Aunty makes bentos as well though on this day it was just some spam musubis. Not to be deterred I got Gigi's Special Bowl this medium size at $10.99 was packed with so much yummies (açaí sorbet, strawberry, banana, blueberry, granola, honey, kale and spinach) I'm assuming the veggies were blended in the sorbet but I couldn't really tell but it was so refreshingly delicious !What a delightful sight aunty talked how she sold and closed her downtown location and opened this one, a super tiny nook she had some friends hanging out and accompanied her for support, as she started on my order she finds this adorable cup with little polka dots and says "I give you this cute cup!"Supporting small and local is just the delight of the neighborhood and I have my chiropractor and orthopedic doctor just steps away so you know I'll be back here for another visit to Aunty Gigi's!!It's not just her smoothies and açaí bowl that's healing but the delightful joy she brings to you as her genuine kindness is the real pot of gold!Thank you!

Tiny shop that does açaí bowls, smoothies and some Korean food. The day we went, Aunty Gigi was manning the shop and was super helpful in sorting out what we wanted to try! Some free samples later, we rolled out of there with a couple of açaí bowls and a smoothie. Everything was made to order, big portions, really fresh and reasonably priced! So glad she's right down the street! Will have to try the savory food next time!

Our Yelp Elite extraordinaire friend Nadine brought us here to try Aunty Gigi's Acai bowl! She had this enticing beef sausage bento staring us in our faces that my wife could not pass up! Those broccoli pieces did it! Therefore we purchased it! There were even some furikake present on the rice. Yummy goodness. While Aunty Gigi prepared Nadine's mango smoothie we waited patiently & chitchatted with Korean Aunty Gigi. She's a realtor per Nadine. So nice & friendly & personable. Perfect for that real estate profession. We tried a taste of the mango smoothie & it was DELICIOUS!!!Made with oat milk! Wow the flavors were fabulous & so creamy! Also we could taste the mango chunks.Aunty Gigi diligently & freshly prepared our Acai bowls as well. Wow it was well worth the wait. We lucked out with free open parking though tight at times but this small business is worth coming to. Aunty Gigi is truly a breath of fresh air! Why don't you try her out? Much better than the bitter fruit at Jamba's! Please support this local small business! You truly won't regret it. Also come early for a better selection of bentos too if that's what you're looking for. We just so happened to get her last one for the day & we arrived there early afternoon!

Lunch in Honolulu, Hawaii...Paris Cafe & Bahn Mi used to occupy this spot according to Donna O.'s tip. When I patronized Paris Cafe, I didn't like the interior because it was really hot - like a sauna. LOL!Fast forward a few months...I had driven by (on Ke'eaumoku Street) and noticed the new red sign where Paris Cafe was: Aunty Gigi's Cafe. I made a note to self to return some day...Today was the day!I parked in the free parking lot which is shared with Arena Sports Bar. The Hours of Operation on the door stated that it's closed on Mondays. I opened the door anyway and Aunty Gigi was there! I pointed to the sign on the door. She smiled, welcomed me in, and said she has to change the sign.Currently, Hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Later on, when she hires another staff, she will expand her business hours. The interior of the cozy shop was nicely air conditioned! There are two chairs and a table for dining in.I ordered a Spam and egg musubi (the rice is slightly flavored), Gobo Kimbap, Super Green Smoothie, and an Acai Bowl. While I waited for Aunty Gigi to make my smoothie and Acai Bowl, she gave me a sample of the fishcake Kimbap. It was so beautifully perfect - tightly wrapped and symmetrical! Healthy and tasty!Aunty Gigi is a great conversationalist. It turns out that she sold her successful business, Vita Juice, in downtown Honolulu, and started this cozy shop. In her spare time, she is a realtor and a pastor! She donates some of her profits to the Missions! How cool is that?My Super Green smoothie was finished first. I don't know how she makes kale and spinach taste good... It must be the combination of honey, banana, and avocado. I was worried about what kind of milk she used. She pointed to the Oat Milk in the refrigerator. Whew! Non-dairy! Yay!Also - Aunty said that she doesn't use ice in the smoothie - so that the flavor stays consistent (ice would dilute the taste). She's so smart!Aunty Gigi packed up my musubi, Kimbap, and Acai Bowl in a cute lunch bag. She told me that I could freeze the acai bowl if I wanted it more solid. Gosh - that was a large lunch! I had half for dinner! Haha! Thanks, Aunty Gigi for the beautiful, nutritious, and delicious meals! I'll be back soon!Congratulations on your new venture! Wishing you much success and happiness!
