We had couple cocktails and wine of course. Bacchus means God of wine. my fiance likes it so we will come back before we head back home to Hollywood. I love the ambiance of the place and bartender on tuesday night was yum lol and service was pretty great!!!.

Added an extra $3.61 to my charge card tab of two beers and a $4 tip. When I confronted them about it they refunded the difference in cash, and then the next day added $6 to the charge. Never going back.

The ambiance is nice, mainly locals here. I travel to Waikiki for a week and decided to end my trip here on a Sunday. It was "okay" - nothing extraordinary. We had a few laughs and had drinks. Not much to do on Sundays at Honolulu at least for tourists. Definitely check it out, if you want to enjoy a few drinks.

This place was happening the night we stopped by. Actually second time here but first time didn't get in. It was during covid when they were only limiting amount of people in at a time. Didn't want to wait for a drink then. But on this visit, it was a busy night but a good crowd. Bar area does get just so I recommend getting a drink right when you get in. There did have someone checking id when you come up the stairs. There's a little outdoor area along the walkway to the restroom. Good crowd and great music.

My wife and I went here to hang out. It is primarily a gay bar, but we were welcomed with open arms and everyone was a ton of fun. The drinks are mixed strong and the patrons are all very friendly.

GO TO ANY OTHER BAR. Yes, you may have the right to check my ID, but it's so uncool to take us outside the bar and embarrass us because you see "not for real ID purposes" on our completely valid ID and call it fake. I was ready to provide a second form, or call the cops because he took only valid ID to travel with back to the mainland away from me and my sight, since my partner and I are far over the drinking age, this bartender was on a power trip and completely disrespected us. I'm sorry straight DINKs from NYC trying to give you business isn't your ideal clientele, but what you did was crappy and you lost a significant tip, probably 2 nights in a row given their Wednesday NOT SO "SPECIAL"...

Bacchus has been such a great place to enjoy the company of friends and cheap drinks over the years. It's also one of the few gay bars in Waikiki, so the scene is often saturated with tourists from all over the world. It's honestly a fantastic way to meet folks from across the globe. The bartenders are all amazing and friendly. Don't miss out when My Friend George is deejaying! His tunes are always bound to get you moving! This is a small bar, so prepare to be crammed in on a busy night; but with a fresh air balcony, it's never hard to get a breather if you're feeling overcrowded.

Such a fun time and felt safe the whole night. Bartenders were quick and friendly despite the rush and the music made for some fun dancing. Drinks were strong in the best way. Bathrooms were easy to access and clean for a bar in a Friday night lol. Queer friendly obvi, so definitely recommend!
