One star because of the nice staff and one because it is walkable from home and they consistently have new beer, but this beer is quite bad. I had multiple beers here, which I suffered through. My wife had a couple that were basically undrinkable.I drank about a thousand different beers in my life and beer lab's beer is consistently in the lowest 15%. I cannot recommend.

Fun little spot, with high quality beer, and the closest among their locations to Waikiki. I heard recently (Feb 2024) that they may be relocating this branch by June 2024, but they'll surely keep up the good work.

Walked here late at night... Walked a few miles.Worth every step.

The staff is amazing and I love the atmosphere. Their smoked Ahi dip is the best thing I have tasted ever.

Love this place! Small batch beers that rotate regularly so there’s always something new to try. Kind and knowledgeable serves. Fun environment for a chill evening.

Don't understand why this restaurant doesn't have big trays to bring everything out at once. Ordered three dishes, all came separate. We didn't get plates, napkins or utensils until everything was on the table. Food was good, server was nice, just not practical.

Prepare yourself for a visit to Beerlab, where 'lab' stands for 'Lamentable Abominations of Beer.' This place should be awarded a PhD in producing consistently awful brews. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to drink a pint of disappointment, look no further than their 'scientific' concoctions. The beers themselves are nothing short of a tragedy. It's as though their brewers took a vow of abstinence from quality ingredients and flavor. 'Beerlab' indeed; it's more like 'Beer-flab,' because you'll gain weight but won't gain any appreciation for craft beer.In conclusion, if you enjoy subjecting your taste buds to cruel and unusual punishment, Beerlab should be your first stop. Their beers are like the failed experiments of a mad scientist who should have stuck to baking soda and vinegar volcanoes. Save your palate, your time, and your dignity; avoid this 'lab' like the plague it is.

We went to the University location. Very disappointed in what they had. Tasted like homebrew to me.

Casual spot to grab a beer with friends.Decent beers. I enjoyed a fruity one and it had some pretty interesting variety and local collabs.Good and friendly service! Close to the university so popular among college students. Can get pretty loud and energetic due to the large crowd enjoying drinks! Would recommend for groups for a fun brewery crawl.

I came here for a trivia event my friend hosts and was very impressed, The ambience is laid back and fun. There's a table with board games on it, which is a great addition. The food and drink is really good. I ate the salami panini with the mustard and mayo and it was so good I ordered another. I drank a grapefruit gose called Guarans and it's great. The tartness cuts the alcohol taste, which is useful for someone who rarely drinks these days. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. I had a bar seat at this trivia event, which let me see and further appreciate how hard they work. They were consistently washing glasses and trays and I think they make the paninis too. The food menu isn't long but I like that because I think it helps keep the quality high and service smooth. They also make popcorn to order which makes the place smell great. I recommend this place highly, especially if you're looking for beer besides the typical Bud/Heineken/Corona offerings,

Nice variety of beers and each one we had was great, but not much in the way of food (aside from some paninis) and it was quite rowdy, probably because of the proximity to the college. Prefer the location in pearlridge because of the ladder 2 reasons, but the beer is still great here, and there are a ton of food options close by. There wasn't any waitstaff either and we had to go up and serve ourselves.

For years, this has continued to be my favorite brewery on Oahu. I haven't had any beers from them that I wouldn't drink. The selection is great, and they always have new stuff. Staff is friendly and inviting. We talked beer for quite a while as they we not too busy when I visited.
