Always a great show at the Blue Note in Honolulu. Great atmosphere, very intimate, and great sound. We saw The Wailers this time and they were legendary as expected. Just be ready to drop a few extra dollars on food and beverages. Also, if you’re getting loge seating, go for the bar seating in the back. (It’s hard to dance at tables unless you’re on them, which is frowned upon) chee hoo!

I came to the Blue Note to see the Wailers for the first time! The venue is nice, it's a pretty tight spot but everything was quite enjoyable. (regarding the venue ofcourse) The kale salad was alright, not worth the price whatsoever. ($19) I was already hesitant about ordering food not just because of the price but also because I was just not hungry and I do not drink alcohol. & Apparently there's a $10 minimum I was not aware of whatsoever The service was okay as well, nothing really stood out but they were all nice. besides that the Wailers put on an amazing show.

Just finished watching Jiaoying Summerd, Amazing comedy show and Thoroughly enjoyable event, Special shout out to Jose Raymond and Tumwater for opening. 10 outta 10 would go again. Seating was nice, People were friendly, Food was lacking for the price but it was still acceptable.

Attended a 'Henry Kapono & Friends' show at the Blue Note tonight, but it felt more like a 'Friends & a cameo by Henry' affair. False advertising at its finest…:As a local, I was excited to showcase some true island talent to my NYC friend, only to have Henry grace the stage for a mere three songs (one of them a cover) over two hours. The rest of the time was left to new, albeit less captivating, local artists. Talk about a letdown! If I had known it would be such a limited showcase of Henry's talents, I wouldn't have bothered or at least would have set proper expectations for my guest.

Great local venue. We saw Theo Crocker (jazz) and really enjoyed the show. The food was okay - maybe 3.5-4*, but we were there for the show. My advice is to eat first, then get drinks there.

The food menu is unbelievable overpriced for little food. Desserts are outrageous prices! Strawberry shortcake is very small. Just a biscuit and whipped cream for 17 dollars. Nuts! Its food, taste, texture, and value doesn't add up to the price of it. Please improve prices or at least make the food and dessert worth the price. All the foods need to change after people spent money on tickets. The tickets should be including free appetizers and drinks. Music was too loud unexpectedly. Turn the beats down a bit so we can hear the singer better.

On the day I went, it was worse than I thought. The performance was disappointing compared to the high price range of target and mainstream prices.

What's not to love about Blue Note Hawaii. I have seen so many shows here over the years and they're all great! From world-famous comedians like Matt Rife and Hawaii's talented comic Jhonny Rox-Hollywood, to Music super-stars like Wayne Newton and Hawaii's own Paula Fuga. It's open seating, first come first serve, but all the seats are good so you won't be disappointed in any seat you get. I prefer VIP seating, but the lesser expensive Loge seating is every bit as great and you have more freedom to dance:) The food is good. Their menu has changed several times over the years. I highly recommend their watermelon cocktail. It's delicious. It can get a little chilly sometimes so you may want to bring something if you get chilly easily. Whatever the show, whoever the talent, you're sure to have a fun time! * Oh and make sure to see the local comedy nights. There's some very very funny comics. My absolute favorite is Jhonny Rox Hollywood. If he's performing, you're sure to have a belly laughter of a night:)

Took my in-laws to see Paula Fuga for Christmas. She put on an amazing show! We got tickets to sit right next to the stage. After the initial round of drinks it gets very busy and there was a long wait for food and drink. Understandably so as it was packed! The food is probably 3/5, pretty basic. The venue is located at the Outrigger, upstairs.
