Phenomenal!!! Heard about it a few months ago and finally made my way to try it . All I have to say is ?????????? so far best panini, sandwich, pizza , and cannoli I’ve had in a long time! Definitely adding this place to my “ MY TRY” list when family or friends ask for suggestions.

I had panini and pizza.Delicious.After ordering and picking up food in the store, you can eat at the table next to the store. It's run by Italians, so the coffee is medium to high.

Amazing authentic stuff by an Italian Chef, his family and crew!! Unique wines & great grindz, etc!

Fantastic. There is no way to describe how good the food, selection, and service here is. If you are interested in real Italian food at all check it out.Staff and owner are incredibly friendly and will take the time to advise you and help sample items. Can be very busy during lunch but worth the wait.

Excellent Italian sandwich/pizza shop. Staff is always warm and inviting. The food is always top notch. Hard to beat the combo of fresh mozzarella and homemade bread. They have a wide variety of Italian treat. Highlights are a varied wine selection, pistachio spread, and a wide variety of pasta. They have espresso, beer, bottled cocktails, and Italian soda to drink on premises. Most items are $20~ dollars but are large, easily shared by two people. This makes it about $10 a person which is a steal on the island. A true gem and a unique spot for Honolulu!

this place is a legit Italian deli, perhaps if it was in jersey, it wouldn’t be so special, but we are in middle of the pacific front, so indeed a rare find for those who have traveled before to italy… you can find all the imported goodies at the market section, and very authentic sandos and pizzas at the kitchen. all the ingredients are top notch, meats, cold cuts and of course the fresh mozzarella. price reflects the top notch quality of everything. i had the bolognese sandwich, and although it is not my favorite kind of sandwich, for those who love delicate flavors of pistachio olive oil and mozzarella cheese, it is top notch. i personally prefer vinegar and pickled veggies on my sandos so it wasn’t my fav. but i recognize greatness, even though its not my preference.

Awesome bread, killer sandwich, great little shop with Italian treats and wine/liquor.

This place is absolutely delicious. Finally made it after way too long and so glad we came. The sandwiches are a must and the flatbreads are worthy of a visit too. There’s a bunch of Italian goods, wines and fresh cheeses and salami to take home as well. Great staff and fun place to be. Say hi to Chef Donato himself as he’s usually there. Parking is limited so consider ordering online first before picking up. However you decide to do it, you will not be disappointed. ??????

Wow! This is a hidden gem that I'm glad we came across. I'm embarrassed to say during our 4 night stay I ate a total of 3 sandwiches and 1 pizza from here. Yeah, it's that good. I'm hungry just writing this.
sandwiches are delicioussss!! i'll have to try their pizza next time. there's a little area to sit outside and eat which is nice!

I love me a good sandwich! I'm not too well-versed in Italian authencity but Bocconcino was so fresh and filling that I would love to come back again and try their other selections. It's a small shop where they sell deli meats, pasta, wines, and other ingredients. I love that they have a covered designated eating area next door -- the convenience! The pictures fooled me because it didn't look too big until I held the Bolognese in my hand...I'm so glad my friend and I shared it because there was no way I could finish it all in one sitting. However, we also ordered the Prosciutto Arugula Pizza and I was struggling to take a bite because of the sandwich. Depiste being full, I loved everything and wouldn't mind coming back again! The wait can be pretty long so it's highly recommended to participate in their online ordering system. They have a couple stalls in front but we parked at Whole Foods and walked over

Legit Italian deli. Will definitely be back.

The flatbreads are better than the paninis. Expensive for very little meat. I don't recommend this place.

Over hyped and the pizza is not impressive. The store looks authentic, but it doesn't deliver. I expected more from the look of the place. It's overpriced for the amount and quality. One thing I liked was the imported products like the Italian soda and the oils. But it's extremely over priced. You can just order on Amazon. There are better places elsewhere.
