Came here for lunch on a weekday. It was bustling but efficient.I got the club sandwich and I have to say, pretty damned tasty!! I love a good club sandwich. This had fresh tomatoes, fresh soft avocado, nice meats, and the bacon was perfect with just the right amount of crunch. The bagel it came on was delicious as well. It came with a tiny salad which had very fresh greens.I'd come back here in an instant! The place is kept spotless and service was friendly and professional.

I haven't enjoyed spending time in a Cafe since visiting Europe until today. Kaka'ako Cafe offers a delightful array of food and beverages but I think the highlight of this place is the atmosphere. Firstly, it is very clean and efficiently structured. The ladies at the counter gave me excellent service and their intermittent bursts of laughter in the back make me feel at ease. Coming from the service industry myself, I know the kind of stress these kinds of work environments produce. It is very nice to see them enjoy their time while serving guests. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Been meaning to check out this cafe since it's around the corner from where I work, but after a friend brought back a small sampler of their monthly soft serve yesterday I had to stop by today.I ordered their curry chicken sandwich and their bagel pizza and earl grey soft serve (this month's flavor) for my sis and we both approve. The curry chicken sandwich had a nice full portion and their house dressing was delicious. My sister enjoyed her pizza and is asking me to stop by again soon after I'm pau with work haha!Looking at their website, it is a bit out of date in terms of their menu and their social link (ie, they list teri chicken sandwich on their site but I didn't see it on the board there though I could have easily missed it, haha). This is nowhere near a complaint, just want to let the fine folks know! The rest of the site is very well organized and list what to expect from each option. It's a very cozy spot to hang in with good amount of seating inside and a public space just outside. Very good food, soft serve, and service. Planning to try more from their menu that caught both my and my sister's eye. Would recommend.

Nice little pastry and coffee shop. The staff was welcoming and made the morning cheerful. Pricing was a little bit high, but I was fine with it as long as the people are nice. Had a toasted blueberry bags and coffee to go with it. Will be back.

Mahalo Li Y for the weekend meetup at this little cafe, which happens to be conveniently located near my office. They've got such a varied menu of drinks, sandwiches, sweets and treats for lunch, I'll be coming by with co-workers soon - and hopefully a late afternoon meetup to try their dinner menu! For those who don't live or work nearby, there's plenty of metered parking in front of the center as well as surrounding streets. It's a small, cozy space that would be perfect for groups of 4 or less. Looking forward to trying this in the evening!

Great service! Nice ambiance and good soundtracks. Food is more on the pricey side and portions are pretty small but the quality is excellent. Great coffee, great seating (except maybe the bars)

It's quiet and you can relax. The food is good. Portions are generous. No preorder necessary. I also like that the cream and sugar are self-serve, as many places keep them behind the counter now.Parking: Usually easy to find street parking.

I really needed coffee and my regular place was closed for vacation, so searching for coffee Kakaako came up. Never heard of it...never seen it. But I've driven by the building before. Friendly greeting when I walked in. There were others inside working and chatting. There's even a nice couch set up to relax. I ordered a latte with lavender and took a seat a small table. I really liked that she brought it out to me. So I too started working and spent about an hour there. That is, until a loud couple came in and wouldn't talk softly. I mean, they both might be hard of hearing but still, you're right in front of each other! LOL! Other than that, this is a great place to come to. Next time, I'll try the food! Mahalo KAKAAKO!

Always a good to spot when we're in town for the day! Especially during breakfast time! The food is always delicious and comes out fast (try the tuna and/or curry chicken salad sandwiches, as well as the lattes!), the customer service is good and welcoming, and the cafe as a whole just feels really inviting. Definitely one of my family's new favorites!

Stumbled in this cute space for breakfast. Simple beacon egg croissant latte and orange juice delighted my taste buds. Staff is super pleasant and love the quant cozy atmosphere. Reminds me of Sausalito California waterfront shop. This is now my favorite place. Highly recommended!

I stopped in her to have lunch the other day. I was looking for a sandwich shop and came here based on yelp reviews. You enter the restaurant and order at the counter. I asked what was recommended and their top recommendation was the pastrami sandwich. They also recommended the bagel pizzas, chicken salad sandwich and tuna melt. I went with the Tuna melt. This is an open faced bagel sandwich. You could also do it in a croissant or bread. The sandwich came with a mixed green salad as well. I also got an Arnold Palmer. The restaurant was clean and tables as well. My sandwich didn't take too long and it was very tasty. I did however break 2 forks eating my sandwich. I tell you these new plastic forks don't stand up as well. The avocado on the tuna melt was a nice addition. The tuna salad had some onions which I was worried about but they were fine. Not that obvious and didn't leave an onion taste behind. The Arnold Palmer was perfect. A good balance of tea and lemonade. This isn't as easy as one would think. I often have to add water because the lemonade is too strong. The salad was also good. I liked the flavor of the dressing but didn't love the gritty texture of the dressing. I would have preferred chips but that's just me. Overall a great place for lunch or breakfast based on the menu. Nice selection, good parking and nice space to eat and work if you had work to do.
