We loved Castro's so much we ended up having brunch there twice on a week long trip last month. My husband has been joking about flying back to Honolulu just to get breakfast there again! The presentation AND the food were both exquisite. The homemade carambola pickles accompanying our sandwiches- beautiful AND surprisingly tasty. The fruit served was generous, perfect and thoughtfully arranged, whether as part of a granola plate or as a side. Service was efficient and professional. And they pull a wonderfully authentic cortadito. Get one of the outside tables under an umbrella and enjoy the view of the Ainahau Triangle park at Fort Derussy. We look forward to going back to Castro's the next time we're on the island.

Papaya bowl is a disaster. It's a giant fruit plate with buried papaya. Mango and kiwi not peeled. I'm from Hawaii and never seen such a thing. Luckily they cater to tourists and don't rely on locals.

Probably one of the best if not best breakfast spots we had on our Hawaii trip. Low key spot with delicious food with great ingredients. Not a huge menu but would definitely come back again (ate here twice in one week) Had the cuban breakfast and the ham & cheese sandwich. Both delicious.Ice lattes were good as well. Plus they were a good ole American portion size.

Castro’s is a unique, delicious breakfast spot with a cuban flair, offering some really interesting takes on breakfast classics like tres leches french toast and a brisket breakfast sandwich. My wife and I got the breakfast sandwich, which was excellent; it had a chipotle aioli sauce on it and the brisket was super tender, and came with a bunch of fresh fruit and pickled veggies. The coffee was also great, so all in all Castro’s was an awesome spot to start off our day.

Amazing. All the tables were full when I arrived so they put me on a wait list but it only took a couple minutes before a table opened up.Buen día sandwich was so delicious. Came with a nice variety of fruit. One of the girls was very kind when I had to ask how to eat one of the fruit I hadn’t seen before. I don’t remember what the name of the fruit was but it was perfection. The cortadito was also great. Perfect amount of sweetness.Definitely give this place a try!

Everything is 10/10, best ham and cheese I've had in my life, didn't have it but the french toast looks absolutely phenomenal. Saw someone who had apparently been waiting a little while for her takeout and they were so apologetic it was taking a while they offered to comp her order. Hidden gem, must go!

This was othe best breakfast I have had in recent memory! The menu is small, but everything was so delicious. We got the smoked salmon board and the buen dia. The smoked salmon board was a deconstructed lox without the bagel, and dill instead of cream cheese. Absolutely hit the spot as we wanted bagel and lox! . Everything on it was absolutely fantastic! The buen dia had perfectly toasty bread and a delicious egg, dill sauce and fantastic fruit alongside. We had a cappuccino and latte with vanilla, incredible!
