Today I ordered the matcha kuromitsu kinako milk. The picture looked so amazing. Staff was very friendly, loved that. Service was quick as well. The drink itself was delicious, I also asked for less sweetness and it was perfectly balanced. Now, for the boba, it was a little bit firm. I like my boba squishy, this was not. I will try them again in hopes for a better boba experience.

Today, I decided to order one of the more popular drinks at Chaya Hawaii. I got the Pineapple Li Hing large drink. I decided not to add any toppings. I liked it. Lots of Li Hi g powder was added to the drink and I love pineapple. I cannot wait to try other drinks from Chaya Hawaii.

My son and I enjoy this place, we might go here too much. (My doctor would probably say I should cut back.) I like that you can actually taste the flavor of the tea and you're not just tasting sugar and milk. The staff are very friendly and the service is quick. Plus it's in a great spot in the mall, you can get some shopping done and grab a boba tea for the ride home.

The strawberry matcha milk tea is my absolutely favorite, especially with boba is always on point in terms of sweetness and texture consistency.

Cute little boba stand located in Kahala Mall. The menu is relatively straightforward with Japanese and local options. The boba was the perfect texture and the milk tea was at the perfect level of sweetness. It is on the pricier side but it's worth it for hojicha!!

Strolling through Kahala and the picture of the strawberry milk caught our eye so we pulled the trigger and stopped at Chaya. I ordered the Matcha Strawberry Milk I love matcha and I like strawberry.. it didn't disappoint and look at the presentation in the picture.. layered come on you can't deny that looks dope. The drink wasn't overpowered by the matcha like some drinks can get and the strawberry was legit fruit so you know they're using high quality ingredients and not just flavored syrup. We also got the Kuromitsu Kinako Milk she really enjoyed the subtleness of it and the way it wasn't cloyingly sweet. I tasted it and thought it was good also. I mean it's a small drink stand in the middle of the mall what can you say?? The service was fast and they did have a couple people ahead of us but I mean it was your typical wait time.

Currently going through a yuzu obsession phase so i had to try their yuzu matcha green tea. I enjoyed the yuzu and matcha blended flavor. I could do without the chucks of lemon peel.
Very nice workers, I got my boba in a quick time. I almost didn’t process that I even ordered, that’s how fast it was. I ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba, and it tasted exactly how I’d imagine. One weird thing though is that the worker did try to touch my hair… I didn’t mind tho :3

Chaya Hawaii is a cute stand in Kahala Mall run by a Japanese owner that knows his matcha and strawberries! I've been coming to Chaya since they first opened up and they've remained consistent in providing high quality drinks. My go-to order is the Strawberry Milk with Boba!

I don't typically go to Kahala mall but stumbled across this cute boba kiosk and had to try something! Service was quick and the workers were very friendly :)Kuromitsu kinako matcha latte with boba was surprisingly not too sweet! The matcha helped to cut the kuromitsu. Boba was on the softer side and I would've ordered it without whipped cream if I had known it came with.4 stars just because it is a little pricier but I'll always support local!
