This is my normal stop for a great salad. Their salad with mixed meat (chicken and beef/lamb) is great. Romaine lettuce, sliced onions, olives, feta cheese crumbles, some type of yogurt sauce, and their salad dressing topped off with the meat. I then top it off with their hot sauce. Very simple salad with lots of flavor!

Fantastic food for a good price. I would reccomend this, I got a chicken Shwarma wrap and food took about 5-10 minutes to come out.
Came in today, had an amazing donner wrap, and the people where incredibly sweet.

The food here is always on point! Favorite spot downtown for sure! They cut the rice plate in half and kept the price the same but honestly I’m still coming back lol. We come here at least 1-2x a week!

If you're asking yourself whether you should try this place, stop wondering and try it! Food is consistently good! My go to is their Döner Shack plate with extra meat because it's that good! I've had a lot of Mediterranean style food and this place never disappoints! They have 2 locations (Ward and downtown HNL). The taste and consistency of the meat and rice plus the freshness of the sauce and salad is highly recommend!!

This review is in regards to the use of the delivery option. The food here is great and I looked forward to having another meal from Donner Shack. Unfortunately, Grub Hub did not arrive at my location. When contacted Grub Hub stated that their driver had already made the delivery. I informed them that I had been actively monitoring the traffic for 6 hours and no attempt to make a delivery was made. It seems using Grub Hub is not the way to go if you are unable to get food via take-out. Please don't let Grub Hub's actions keep you from experiencing the fine food offered by Donner Shack.

First time here but I've been trying to find time to try their food because I've heard their food is fire. They definitely did not disappoint! Got the Cali Wrap and I had originally asked to take out the avocado but the guy said was the best part so I said why not? I asked him choose the meat for me, he said the Lamb goes good with the avocado. His recommendation was spot on man because that wrap was hands down the best wrap I've had in a long time Side Note: Their wrap is HUGE so I ate half and saved half. They got a cool map in there that you can also pin where you're from and where you've been which is dope to peak curiosity as you walk in. If you're debating on trying this place, do it! Food : 10/10 Customer Service/ Wait Time: 5 minutes (10/10)

There is a reason this place is out the door during lunch. Food is tasty, and service is good. Location at intersection of Fort Street and Pauahi, so it is in downtown Honolulu. It is convenient if you work downtown but not so much if you don't. Menu has plates and wraps based on the meats served (beef/lamb kabob and chicken shwarma). Canned drinks are available in the fridge and seem to vary. I lucked out and saw some orange Jarritos. I prefer the wraps, but my coworkers always seem to get the plates. I'd say it was 75%/25% wraps to plates the day I went. Lamb/beef wrap for $12.50 is not bad and green sauce since it was less spicy than the red. Get there before 11AM most days, and you are good. 12 Noon is a killer line, but it comes and goes in waves. sondont be afraid to wait a little. If there is a line 20 deep, I would come another day. Some people like me were ordering for the whole office so it can be deceptive with the line. Seating is limited, and most people take out their food. Will be back again.

I have no idea why I haven't tried this place sooner! The food here is so delicious! You can definitely find that this is a very popular lunch spot because the lines are always long! It's kind of hot inside but all good! They have tables inside as well if you wish to dine in.So far I have tried the big Turk plate, the rice plate, and the Döner wrap! The big Turk plate has a little bit of everything! I love me my falafels and hummus and this plate has that plus the rice plate portion! It is a nice big plate for all the people who would like bigger portion meal. The rice plate that I tried is with chicken and falafel. It's not on the menu but I asked and they delivered!! So awesome for them to be able to do that! The last thing I had tried was the Doner wrap! It was nice, big, and plump! Just the way I like it! Lol next time I will try the Downtown Doner Wrap, definitely sounds confusing if you don't add the Downtown in the beginning when you order. The only difference is that the Doner wrap doesn't have hummus and feta cheese. But still want to try it!If you haven't tried this place in downtown, then you should definitely give it a try when you're here!
