They were out of certain items on the menu like the pork belly and the fried chicken. But the alternate options I got was still delicious! I'll definitely come back when they are here at Pearlridge.

I love Da Hub! Uncle Steven always has ono grinds and makes everything with a smile. He is a creative, always making lots of different food creations. He also has delicious sashimi party platters and poke by the pound available. I have visited his food truck and pop-ups over the past couple years. I also went to pick up sashimi from him at his store front in Kalihi for NYE. Luckily I scored parking right in front of the store that day. He was doing a deal for the holidays where you can buy a sashimi platter for $75 and get a pound of poke for free. In these times, that deal is GREAT! His fresh poke and sashimi was so ono. I was talking stories with him and he ended up throwing in another pound of poke for us! He's THE BEST. Note: if you are able to, please consider tipping, even on takeout! It's not expected, but i love supporting small businesses in whatever way i can, especially during these times. You can order by calling him or messaging him on Instagram. So easy. He is busy, but responsive.Cheers to Da Hub! Be sure to visit them at one of their pop-ups or at their Kalihi storefront!!

Da Hub food truck was at the hgea craft fair, and I ordered the seafood plate for $18 one day and this other combo plate with poke and ahi katsu for $18 the next day because it was so good. The servings of fresh fried fish were huge, so it was worth the price. I couldn't eat it all, so I saved half for dinner. My friend bought the fries for $8 and although not steaming hot, it was flavorful and delicious.I have to look for where this truck parks regularly because their thick portions of fish are fresh, their shrimp are partly open so it's easy to shell and eat with a fork and their sauces compliment the batter of their fish as well as the generous portion of sweet spicy sauce with their shrimp that I'm craving for more.

Da Hub Truck came to the HGEA Grindz event on Thursday in downtown Honolulu of HGEA building. The line for this place was long. I had the Ahi Katsu/Spicy Ahi Poke. Wow! Yummy! The Ahi Katsu presentation looked awesome. Topped with spicy mayo, unagi sauce (I think) and seasoned with furikake. By the way it looks, it also taste good too. Expect ahi to be a bit on the dry side but still yummy and it's fresh fish. Not salty for those who watching their sodium intake. Very crunchy Panko.Next, the scoop of spicy ahi poke was yummy and fresh (don't think it's previously frozen). Definitely not over sauced with the spicy mayo and there's a generous amount of chunks of raw cubed ahi with mix again with Furikake seasoning. Bit on the pricy side ($18) but we'll worth your taste buds and your supporting local businesses. My coworker also enjoyed his food and was very satisfied with his ahi Katsu and smoked meat. Definitely will try this place again for the other food on the menu (spicy ahi nachos) if they are in downtown again. Accepts cash, credit/debit card.

The ribeye steak plate was one of our best meals on the island! Sooooo tasty and soft! Excellent seasoning! I'd definitely return. Found them in the little farmers market across the street because another brick and mortar restaurant we originally picked had a 20-30 min wait.

Don’t go to popular touristy places with overpriced food. Come here. The menu is sort of hit or miss but the food is actually flavorful and a good value. I’d avoid the poke and the chicken wings as I’ve found them to be very sub par to be honest but the fish dishes and shrimp were great. The beef was good but a bit salty (it’s similar to Korean galbi chjim) and the scallops were ok. I’ll be taking friends and family who are visiting here for sure and steer them away from the usually bland touristy places.

hi kealoha, just to let u know, the 2 poke bradasadas (think thats what its called) fried in the purple bread didn't cut it, at kaiser farmers mkt today. my family didn't favor the mix at all vs the original round ones that was so awesome. big difference, so won't be getting that version again. we didn't eat the bread part.. it was disappointing. the beef plate was the bomb! as usual.

Excellent service and food. Friendly owner was so giving and appreciative that we stopped in. They have a food truck and travel around the island to different farmers markets. I highly recommend keepin an eye out for them or follow them on Instagram so u know their schedule!

This place has good food but the service is very very long and it goes over your lunch break. I called to make an order prior and they still managed to make my lunch 30 min late from the pick up date.

Found this food truck at the Taste of Mililani tonight. Nicest owners you will ever meet! He let me sample some chicken when I asked what it was like and I was sold! He was so busy too, preparing all the meals by himself, such an awesome guy! Food is super good...customer service is awesome! So glad I got to try them for the first time! You have a customer for life! Thank you so much for your generosity!

Posted outside in between McDonald's and the old 'Ai Love Nalo is such a fantastic little food stand run by the friendliest guy! He is so kind and gave us free samples of different foods! $15 ahi katsu plate is soooo worth it. He packs the plate with a generous amount of poke and some delicious pieces of ahi katsu. He even included a tofu ahi nugget? I'm not sure but it was really good. I would definitely recommend for the amazing service and a delicious bang-for-your-buck Hawaii food.
