Delicious local food. Please try a luau combo plate the luau has incredible depth of flavor and its deep green color is spectacular. It really makes me sad how many folks will come to Hawaii and now have any food that represents the culture of the place they are visiting. Waikiki is obviously a tourist meca and gentrified out the beach. But a short walk up Kapahulu Ave and you can find somewhere serving up local favorites.
