Located at Sand island just off the Mauka bound at the Diamond head side of Sand Island access road, here is this little shop with a few tables inside, I want a Vietnamese sandwich and I call to placed my order, friendly staff, sandwich ready I just 5 to 10 minutes. The sandwich is well packaged and they accept credit card payment even for just a sandwich. There are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in the area but lot of them do not offer sandwiches any more. There is not much parking in front of the restaurant so you may have to wait for the parking.

Horrible deceptive the dish I paid for was cooked improperly and poorly, when I confronted them about ingredients missing and how they served it they shrugged their shoulders and offered no apology or refund or consolation. ! What a disappointment!!! The seafood was cooked in a sweet and sour gravy, their was no fish extract, and the crispy noodle ( not crispy and uncooked served separately and still in the plastic wrapper!!! I've had the dish before at John and Nam's and BaLe...this dish was a far cry from it!!!

I was extremely disappointed with their crispy noodle seafood. It's is one thing to have a few missing in the dish, but it's another to deceive customers in to buying a product and not give the customer what they paid for. They had a bunch of veggies in a tomato based sweet sour sauce only one shrimp and served the crispy noodle separately and in a plastic bag..(wasn't cooked..I took the dish back and asked if it was a mistake, I've had this dish before in other restaurants and this was not what I paid for! They replied the chef said that's how they cooked it, I hope the owner reprimands the chef .

Super roll, super roll, super roll!!! So so good! The nuc nam that comes with it, isn't the best but other than that, it was so ono! I called in my order and it was ready for pick up by the time I made it in. Small, shop with tapioca and drinks.

Mom raved about this place after having a positive experience with friends and urged me to give it a try. I'm glad that I did! The service was friendly and fast. You can get all sorts of comfort food in the Pearlridge Food Court from Diem 99. Just be sure to get a big stack of napkins. Most of the food is fried and best not to keep it in the bottom of your bag. Don't even think about smuggling this food into the theater next door. The oil will drip and blow your cover.

Love how this place is close to work! I went to their new Sand Island location. They used to be in the 99 Ranch building. I got their lemongrass chicken banh mi and their bbq pork and spring rolls vermicilli noodles. Everything is delish here! Don't forget to try their taro tapioca dessert too!

On Yelp it says they close at 6 pm , I've been driving by everyday and it's closed either at 530 or before, you should change your hours of operation for this location

I like to go here to get the Special Vietnamese Sandwich also called the Banh Mi Dac Biet. I get it with Jalapeños in the juice and pour the juice right into the sandwich if you want the extra kick. My top 2 places I go to get a special combo sandwich Hooghly recommended! I wish this place was open longer but they open early and close at 2pm. So if your flying in or local stop by an try the sandwich highly recommended!

Trying a new food place, Diem 99 Cafe--Pearlridge Food Court Phase II. Whammoo! --for sure a return visit is warranted! I tried s Bahn Mi Barbecued Chicken sandwich. Deliciously different from other chicken sandwiches I've tried. You're digitally signaled when your order is ready for pickup.Phase II food court, brightly lit, offer a variety of good options. Lots of booths for comfortable visiting, setups for large group or counter seating. This place was busy! I can't wait to return to try other menu items!

As they greeted me with a smile I excitedly questioned them about the vegetables on this sandwich. I was halfway through my sandwich when I remembered to take pictures. It was so good and flavorful. Highly recommend if you don't consume meat. Probably grab another before heading to the airport.

NOTE: THIS REVIEW IS FOR THEIR NEW LOCATION AT PEARLRIDGE WAI MAKAI FOODCOURT. (Can't pull it up on Yelp as a separate location.)Have been eyeing the space with the sign saying "coming soon" between Yummy's and Sbarro for weeks. Finally! We visited Friday afternoon 8/4 and they were open! They have a pager to let you know when your food is ready. We ordered take out even though we were eating there just in case we wanted to take some food home. Turns out we ate it all. Daughter had the spring rolls on vermicelli cold noodles. They sliced the spring rolls thinly and she liked that. I had the beef and beef ball pho meal, which comes with two spring rolls. Everything tasted good. Not outstanding, but good basic Vietnamese food. Pho broth was good and nice and hot. Pho noodles and some cooked bean sprouts were in a separate container from the broth. Basil (two types - see picture) and more raw bean sprouts were in a plastic bag, along with a slice of lime. Noodles were properly al dente so they wouldn't disintegrate when added to the hot broth. No idea why they gave both cooked bean sprouts and raw, but that wasn't a problem. They gave plenty of noodles but not enough basil. (Next time I'll just ask for more in lieu of all that bean sprouts.). They didn't give enough sauce. It was as if they gave for only one entree, but we asked for and got more plum sauce. They also give chili oil. No jalapeños for those that care. Overall. a good meal. Very filling. Nice to have Vietnamese food at Pearlridge again, it's been a really long time. Would return here again.

I've been coming here since they were in the old 99 Ranch. I believe the Super Roll is new to their menu because I don't remember them having this at their old location. It's basically a spring roll wrapped in a summer roll. Genius! I highly recommend it if you're a fan of spring rolls. I also recommend their lemon grass Banh Mi. Delicious. The service is always good each time as well. I don't care much for the new location, but I imagine it's a great spot for business, especially with all the big truckers going back and forth in the area.

Really good Vietnamese food in a nice clean space with a few tables for dining in. The service is exceptionally friendly and fast. The menu is extensive. The ingredients including the bahn mi bread are all very fresh. Their fried shrimp bahn mi is my new go-to. Prices are very reasonable. Can’t ask for much more.
