Cashier was oblivious. Walked in and stood there for a few seconds while he was playing on his phone. To add on, he didn’t ask for our size and he just assumed the size we wanted, we asked to change it but he said he already put it in but Ive worked as a cashier, you can 100% change it. Also I said light boba, he put lychee boba.

I tried this place for the first time but all we had was the teas. Efficient service and tea is good. Clean place and right off school St

Dragon Tea continues to be a family favorite for both food and drinks. We've been patronizing this business since they were at Market City. Must-have dishes are: popcorn chicken, braised tomato beef noodle soup, dumplings (boiled or pan fried are both awesome!). The sauce for the dumplings is so tasty that if we ever have extra, we use it on other things like rice. We also like the original beef noodle soup. For the soup and for the popcorn chicken, you can add spice if you want, but they are also so delicious with no spice. I also like the Taiwanese omelette, but I would say it's best if you are eating in because you want it fresh and crispy. We also alternate between the fish balls and the fish tofu. We've recently started venturing out to the bentos and not been disappointed with any of them. (Most recently had the pork chop and salt-and-pepper shrimp). What's great about the plates is you get vegetables and a tea egg in addition to the entree and rice. They've added a bunch of new items to the menu, but so far we've only tried the sweet potato fries, which were good. However, we love our favorites so much that we usually don't have room to try new things. As for drinks, I like the fresh watermelon green tea, my kids like the Brown Sugar Milk or Milk Tea. It's nice they have a jumbo size so they can share and we can save money. We originally started coming for the drinks, but now the food has taken center stage.

I still wish Dragon Tea was still in Market City Shopping Center, so I'd be able to enjoy its variety of tea and fruit drinks, but also its variety of Taiwanese noodles, snacks, and other savory items. Just recently, Dragon Tea began offering BBQ skewers, which was enough for us to make our way to Kalihi! Dragon Tea is probably the first tenant to be in that newer building at the corner of Houghtailing and School St. It shares the same complex with Rainbow Drive In, Katsuriki BBQ House (formerly Gyukaku), and Aloha Cones. There's a parking lot in the back, accessible from Houghtailing. You can enter from the back of the building too! Quite convenient! The inside is quite spacious and clean with a decent amount of tables. I like the gray walls that make it look like cement or is it cement (with brushstrokes)? You order up front and pay first. There's a "30 cents" credit card fee, but I'm not sure if they meant 3 (per)cent. Not gonna find out. I get cash! We started with the Braised Dishes (Tofu & Seaweed). It came with seaweed knots, fried tofu, and black tofu that looks like stinky tofu. The seaweed was my favorite. Nice umami flavor. The fried tofu was delicious. Soft and just oozing with flavor. The "stinky tofu" looking one was actually quite good. It didn't taste or smell like stinky tofu, but it had a nice, subtle soy flavor with a hint of spice. For the skewers, we just went with beef. It was all right. The beef cooked a bit too long and became on the dry side, but they were larger pieces, so it was still tender inside. The spices didn't quite come through for me. There aren't too many skewer choices with lamb, chicken, wings, fish balls, hot dog, shrimp, and etc. with frog legs being a unique one. Prices are okay. Seems about the same as other skewer places. The Braised Tomato Beef Noodle Soup was good. Quite simple. The broth was hearty and clean with a nice amount of tomato flavor. Braised beef was tender, and everything just went well together with the tomatoes, radish, pickled mustard cabbage, and etc. The noodles boiled just right. Next was the Braised Pork Rice Noodle Soup. The broth was good in this one. Good clean, savory taste, but there was way too much noodles compared to the broth and other ingredients (three fish balls, shanghai bok choy, a spoonful of bean paste, and a scant amount of braised pork, which felt like boiled minced pork than braised). Since we were at Dragon Tea, we had to get a drink. The DT Brown Sugar Fresh Milk was really good. Creamy, milky, and with just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, this was a decent meal. It was very homey with the simple flavors, simple ingredients, and simple dishes. Location is convenient, and inside is comfortable. Service was good. Food came out quick. I'll definitely come back again to try more things!

Got a peach green tea with no ice, extra sweet, like I normally would because it's good and safe. I repeated my order 3 times over the phone and the man said he got it. But there's ice, and it tastes like black tea instead of green tea. I've gotten this drink of this place so many times that I know it's not the same tea. One thing they got right is the extra sweet. But the moment I picked up my drink from the bag, it spilled. I guess the cover just wasn't on well. Disappointing.

Good little place to pick up some food and a boba. I got just a simple order of paste noodles and they were delicious. I will be going back because it's close to home... but I think a lot of people may miss it passing by. It's right on School Street near Houghtailing. Don't pass it up.

Had to stop for boba as soon as we could. Ordered the jasmine milk green tea and minced braised pork rice bowl. Both were good, but nothing to write home about other than this Yelp review. The minced pork had bits of bamboo in it which was salty and made the already sodium rich dish saltier. It was not Tenren but good enough!

Our first visit here a couple of years ago was to try their milk tea, and it turned into an unexpected delight when we ordered the popcorn chicken and Taiwanese omelette--one of the best spontaneous decisions we've made! Despite being a bit out of the way for us, we keep coming back periodically for their delicious milk tea and food.

Ordered takeout from here. Popcorn chicken and boba. The popcorn chicken was good but not really spicy. The boba was not good. Tea was way too sweet even at 25% and 0% sugar options. Go elsewhere for

There was a giant cockroach in our boba. Workers were kind but unfortunately we will not be returning because of this.

Food tasted delicious. I am not a big tomato fan but Szechuan beef noodle soup was different and flavorful. I prefer pho over this though...it wasn't really spicy either so I asked for extra spice after food was brought up but it costs extra for extra peppers. The spicy chicken was beef skewers were also good. We also got the lemon green teas from here. It was very refreshing.

Had mixed feelings about this place because we got a mango drink and a taro drink as well as pan fried dumplings from here. I asked the person who took my older whether the mango smoothie had any dairy and she assured us that there wasn't. I told her that my kid had an allergy and she assured us again that it wouldn't have any dairy. However, when my kid had some of the beverage, she had an allergic reaction and it caused her to have discomfort for about an hour. I don't know if cross contamination happened or the ingredients were not properly read but I was a little disappointed about this incident happening since I had triple checked whether or not there was the ingredient and made them aware of the food allergy. That said, the taro drink was good. The pan fried dumpling was okay. I wouldn't say it stood out or anything. It was a nice and clean space.
