Beautiful scenery since it's open air. Noisy atmosphere. You are crammed like sardines, but what do you expect from a tourist trap. The buffet was very sad. We shoulda' gone local Hawaiian. $25 for plain cold American breakfast was not what we expected. There wasn't anything pretty to take pictures of. Not coming back and if you know what ono Hawaiian food is supposed to look and taste like, you won't come here either. I shoulda' known betta'.Parking: You have to pay for parking down the street. It's a bit of a walk. There is no place to drop off for those who can't walk long distance. And the food is not worth the drive or parking fees.

It depends on where you are sitting and who you’re with but it’s hands down the best atmosphere and view! My husband & I go almost everyday at least once everytime we are here!!!!

I had higher hopes for this establishment given the ratings. We arrived around 4pm. They had us seat ourselves. Once the drink order for two was placed, it was another 10-15 min before they arrived. Ordered the spicy wings which were delicious! Also had ordered the Cajun fish tacos which was also very good. Asked for extra napkins (never brought them out). Not once had the server come by and ask how the food was or if there’s anything they can do. Took the order and didn’t see them again until clearing the table and bringing the check. That unfortunately for them is reflected in my tip and I tip well if the service is good. The server may have been new, they may have been understaffed. I take time to consider those things however at the end of the day, other places are able to make it happen, so they should as well.

Leaving Oahu tomorrow. Hoping for a delightful experience tonight, which it was until we watched an overserved man fall off a barstool crack his head, and not be attended to. Absolutely despicable. This man should not have been served, and the staff should’ve taken care of him after he cracked his head on the wall.

We were so excited to dine at Duke's upon returning home after 10 years. We made reservations a year in advance to make sure our reservation was guaranteed as we were looking forward to introduce our mainland friends to this legendary restaurant.As we began to place our orders with our waiter, one of our guests wanted to order a burger. The waiter told us it was only available at the bar and we should have been told the different menus when we made our reservation. He would not be able to serve the burger in the dining room. We would have to make reservations at the bar, even though the rest of us wanted to order from the main dining room menu.We decided to order the famous Hula Pie dessert instead, and would find dinner elsewhere. The waiter told us his manager would not be happy if we just ordered dessert in the dining room.We couldn't believe how poorly we were treated, so we left and were so embarrassed that our go-to restaurant for the last 50 years would not accommodate us.Duke's, you've just lost a life-long customer due to poor customer service. Not ALOHA at all!
